That would be awesome. As much fun as the anticipation of an update can be, I do wish more often it was just a surprise. When Samplr finally updated without warning, I remember feeling such a rush. Imagine how mind blowing Audiobus 2 would be if we had no idea it was coming.
Also, I don't have Gadget yet and REALLY want it after reading about it 600 frickin' times. I'm waiting for 1000 opinions before pulling the trigger.

You will no doubt enjoy it next week when you get it! That is comment 605. heheh!
What's that thing The Borg always say...???
I'm totally addicted to this thing Oh and BTW for all that haven't bought Gadget yet
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE !
Something just occurred to me, and it is true of both Gadget and Caustic (and all the other self-contained systems). They all allow multiple instances of their synths to be created. Which means that they are ripe for IAA. Like, Auria with 5 Marseilles channels all playing different parts.
For AB2, not sure what the paradigm would be. From what I've seen so far, if you put a synth at the input of more than one lane it is assumed to be the singleton synth sending the same sound to all. AB2 SDK would need an API so the user can select which instance to use, or to make a new instance.
That's if their intension is to drop gadget in the input slot....
Korg could,with a few tweaks,(audio record) and IAA/AB,..make this a host/output only app.....?
Just a thought,....
as they didn't launch with AB.........
Looks like someone else had similar thoughts .....just found this on the korg forum posted 2 days back...
Users should be able to choose to open any IAP supporting app into one of the mixer channels. I have no idea if it's even possible, but it would be great if it works exactly the same as it does with the Gadget synths. Lay down your track in the midi sequencer, then export as audio. I imagine this requires virtual midi support.

nice one, got my vote
and I hope Animoog gets IAA soon
They should fully AB integrate like loopy or drumjam with separate tacks on the input.
I really hope they implement AB in both the Input and Output positions, that would be most useful.

I agree but what would be a game changer,is if they did the ( Occupy Input and Output slots simultaneously ) trick in Audiobus ,that I've only seen LoopyHD and AudioShare do.
@Multitouch some other apps do this too - Cubasis, FL Studio Mobile.
Music Studio does it also.
Damn! I somehow inserted myself into one of the gadget slots!
3 tracks in and I'm not missing the money!
Dublin can be a bone rattler for sure!
Exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first effort with Gadget:
A bit of Reggae from Gadget:
Are you two related?:)
Like those tho
Yak,that reminds me of Wayne Smith's original slang tang rhythm.v.nice
Aside from user added samples, audio in, and midi, the only thing else I need is a user definable scale option, then I doubt I'd ever leave this app, except to scavenge every other app I have for sounds, of course.
It's a good thing Auria has its midi implementation coming soon (possibly next month), because I think a lot of big things like this are going to start dropping out of the sky on a monthly basis.
I've read the sale on Gadget ends on February 2 as well as February 22. Does anyone know for sure?
Says Feb. 23 on the site: http://www.korg.com/us/products/software/korg_gadget_for_ipad
man-o-man, I just lost my credit card and am in the process of getting a reissue (during the Chinese Spring Festival = wait)... my wife slyly looks at me and says, "yeah, but what about your app addiction?". There's been no new music apps that I just needed to buy in the last month or so, so I was pretty sure all was gonna be good.
Obviously, I am being laughed at.
I'm a Korg whore in need of me fix!
gotta wait gotta wait... oh, the pain...

The samples in Gadget are from Sample Magic, Loopmasters and Prime Loops.
So they are royalty free. You may use the sounds in combination with other sounds within your musical compositions. You may release such compositions commercially. But you don't have ownership of the sounds, you can't sell the samples unaltered!
Like that @aggrobube...interesting timing and instruments.
@aggrobube.... Yes boy. Sounds like a modern take on late 80's acid music. Aciiiiiid!
Haha! Downloading now...
Loving the drums and bass sounds. Wish there was a way to sidechain or have that pumping effect that Brussels has to all of the synths

That's what we call minimal these days :P

You can do it with all synths with a LFO and especially sawtooth shape which would be Wolfsburg, Berlin, Dublin, Phoenix and Dublin and probably most of the others (haven't checked) but you need to set it manually. LFO depth, LFO shape, BPM sync on and if it is sent to low pass filter it helps to close the cutoff to hear the effect.
Seems this could also use per scene tempo editing, and even tempo automation for good measure.
