Looks like there is a button labeled ‘steps’ there..

Eh. Wazzat sonny? I don’t see it. Maybe I’m a gettin’ jes’ too old.

Strange. Did you update? This is in AU mode..

  • edited October 2019

There in the pad mode (Au) also..

Yes, I updated. IPhone 7s, iOS 13.1.2. What’re you using?
There are other formatting issues as well ...

  • No steps here either, also iPhone 7s.

  • edited October 2019

    Same same. iPhone 8+. iOS12.3.2
Squashed formatting on mixer page & no Steps button.
    Pulse 1.07

  • I had it on the previous version too but waited for 1.07 to see if it went away before asking about it.

  • No steps button on the iPad Air 2 (12.4.2), but the top half of the selectors do show, even if the numbers don’t. It’s always been like that for me.

  • Ok, this is an iPhone XR, ios13.1.2

  • @bcrichards the update fixing the transient crash is online
@wim the 'STEPS' button is only on iPhoneX family because they have a different screen ratio.
In AU3 mode you can scroll the view to show the bottom steps. I need to check on different real devices, unfortunately I cannot run any host in the simulator

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • @ElliottGarage
iPad mini 2 Auv3 also needs to scroll to see bottom of GUI, just see the top of the steps, can't even see the numbers
    Hope this helps

  • @Nicebutfun in what host? Some hosts don't notify when they go full screen, so is impossible to adapt UI on all. GarageBand and Cubasis send the notification, others no

  • @ElliottGarage
Even if I double tap top bar or pull down from bottom right handle

  • @Nicebutfun in AUM simply drag the bottom-right angle of the window to show all

  • This is ace now.

  • thanks @MonzoPro ! Waiting for your new compositions! :)

  • @ElliottGarage
Ok will try again, haven't used for a few days
But early last week this didn't work, couldn't fit Auv3 GUI complete, and had to scroll

  • Not sure if this was mentioned, but for chromatic mode, is it possible to add to midi channel selection, so an individual can be played via an external sequencer or another AU when in a host?

  • @ElliottGarage no crashes and the assign button is back where it's supposed to be!

  • Hi @ElliottGarage

I made some patterns with a dedicated kit and saved that „project“ in „My Banks“.
When i load that project/bank the rhythm is played with the previous used kit and only highlights the associated kit of that project in red. To get the correct kit to play i need to stop, select the already marked kit and start the transport agin - only then is the right kit used.

Could you have a look into this, please

    Thanks in advance.

  • @MrBlaschke after you change a kit you need to first save it in the drumkit section and then resave the bank preset in which is included

  • edited October 2019

@ElliottGarage The kit was a build in kit and is unchanged. It only got selected/assigned.
I only made new patterns/beats. No kit manipulation happened.

    Thanks for responding. :)

That works on the iPad Air 2, but it's not possible to scroll the view on the iPhone 7s. The pattern selectors don't show, and you can't scroll the view. If I hold down the Del or Len button the selectors hover up from the bottom, but then go away when you release either of the buttons. This is in Landscape orientation.

In portrait orientation, the pattern selectors don't show initially. However, if I make the selectors hover up in Landscape (see above), then switch to portrait, then the selectors are there (in portrait only - they're still not available in Landscape).

I can do a screen recording if you need me to.

@wim yes please send it to [email protected]

Sent. Let me know if you have any problem with receiving it due to the large size. If so, I'll send you a link to it.

  • @wim received. I'm gonna fix it in the next update :)

  • Thanks @ElliottGarage! You tha' man!

  • @ElliottGarage pulse still doesn’t send midi to other instruments in AUM, but midi seems to record perfectly in Atom. Is this intentional? Is it possible to drive melodic instruments using the midi from Pulse? This isn’t super important for me, but assumed it was possible.

That doesn't make sense. If it can send to Atom, it can send to anything. Maybe it's just not triggering the same notes you expect in the other app?
