Latch mode
Is there a one touch init session?
Time-stretch doesn't work on key mode , plus it's always re-triggering the sample (no poly) , is it by design?
Thanks a billion for Latch mode
I may be wrong but I think it makes more sense to put the latch button underneath the ‘keys’ button so you can quickly tap it to go into latch mode before tapping a pad. It’s like hold on a keyboard, right?
@gregsmith latch can be set individually on a pad, say you want the first pad to play a sample in latch mode, the second in one shot and the third pad in hold mode
Your so fast!
Great addition.
Thanks a lot
Gotcha. Awesome work
Sounds excellent thanks!
Concerning time stretch is it possible to have an option to auto sync when tempo change instead of checking the sync button of each samples?
can you route midi aufx and record the data in this app?
@reasOne yes, see this video
well that’s pretty dang dope! so you can capture the audio really easy from an aum session!
does it let you load au inside the pulse app itself?
not really needed with this option but just curious
Pulse is an AU plugin. It would need to be an AU host if it were to load another au inside itself.
Would it make sense to have a Pattern store more than the grid and the automation lanes?
As an example, the Poly 2 app has 4 different slots for the Mixer and 4 slots for the FX settings. A stored Pattern includes which of the FX and Mixer slots to use.
Trying a project of volca drum samples to see if can be used as an enhanced volca drum. Maybe a better kick and individual effects.
How can I set the pads to be as loud as the mixer settings? Always set mixer settings but pads are always lower.
Just recorded a volca sample but then after. Edit button whilst holding a pad just goes to sample banks.
Thanks.
Hi. Recording is to hold edit before pad. Sorted.
What about volume level to pads?
Thanks.
The pads are louder depending on how near the middle you hit them I think
Thanks Greg.
i grabbed this a couple hours ago and really having fun with it!
two inquires:
1 does this auosave ? i’m not seeing a way to save the set up i have going on
2 how to start with a blank project? with no samples or patterns
struggling with this ^ lol
It is mildly frustrating how volume-adverse all EG apps are. Gotta crank every fader up every time. I just don’t understand why the sound played back from the pad defaults to less than half the volume of the same sound sent to it when monitored. Even pushing the pad fader and the master most of the way up, it’s still significantly quieter.
This is my only complaint about any of them though.
ok i figured out to make a blank you just gots to delete everything off of one, none of the presets apperar to be blank from the start
I couldn’t remember if my - init - kit came with the app or whether I created it. I guess I must have created it.
Is there a way to rename pads or samples?
I got the - init - too
i’ve tried, no success
I’m really loving it in NS2 but I can’t get it to save my changes. Need to read the manual😳
i’ve opened the manual but walked away lol imma read the dang thing today
I have a prep elm with EG pulse: ifs sample is longer than EG pulse pattern length, then the sequencer doesn’t retrig the sample.
Can anyone confirm?
i don’t know cuz i don’t use the sequencer for my stuff yet, i kinda use eg pulse for a sampler then trigger the samples , usually long pads like playing a sp404 live, but ima have to try that and see , may be a setting
I just trigger the sample and notice that, if I trig a sample at high velocity then trig the same sample at a very low velocity, the attack of the sample is play louder than normal. The sound time you trig the sample at low velocity the sample is played normally (with sample it’s a fast attack for sure the problem i hidden when playing synth pad)
