Oh well no esta importa.
I know, boring question. Has any of you updated to iPadOS 13.6.1 . Does mirack and auv3 plugins work as they should.
No issues here.
i can’t figure out how to use the link module, i normally use CLOCKED to sync to host/aum but i don’t always want to use that clock, so with clocks that don’t hook up to the sync module, is there some way to use the LINK module when using an auv3 instance of mirack so that my jam will sync up to the rest of my aum project?
What clock modules do you want to use? Host Sync and Link have mostly the same outputs, so if a clock module can't connect to Host Sync, it won't connect to Link either I guess.
If clock dividers/multipliers that Link module has are enough for you, you can use it directly without a clock module. Host Sync module now also has clock rate setting in the module menu.
that makes sense, i really like the bidoo tOCAnTe clock but haven’t found a way to connect it to host sync, i get that this module was not necessarily designed to sync to an external clock and def has uses out side of what i want it to do, so in my noob mind i was thinking that the link module just auto synched to the aum project haha i obviously need more sleep 🤣🤪
and that’s good info on link and host sync! def will be digging into em now! thanks man
Haven’t visited this thread in a while // continue on
By the way, here's how to send MIDI clock to hardware (which comes back via the second channel of ES-8 here):
Hello!
I've been working on a series of patches for miRack, which I consider the best app released in the later years.
Most of them are for Keyboard Players with a MIDI Controller or for use in a DAW. Some Grooveboxes and Drum Synthesizers included as well.
Hope you like it!
And @mifki keep the excellent work! I would like to see the complete Bogaudio collection included, as well as Vult modules. Hope they get onboard in the future. Hugs!

thank you! i’m going to grab these ! i also see you have some model 15 patches in there as well!
@reasOne Yes, there's a collection of 100 Moog Model 15 patches as well. And I've made a similar collection for Moog Model D (100 patches) but there's no Platform (section) on Patchstorage for those. Tried to contact them but got no answer...
I’ve seen your posts in FB group, great work, thank you! I’m going to add direct access to Patchstorage from within the app soon.
The latest Bogaudio version is coming in the next (after the current beta is released) update.
@mifki Great news! Thank you!
@FRibeiro I see they are .vcv patches. Can they be opened in MiRack?
@despego Yes they can, the patches were made in miRack, but I've backed them up to my laptop before uploading and I have VCV installed. I don't know why the extension was automatically changed.
It shouldn't be like that. What exactly do you get when you download from PatchStorage?
@despego I just downloaded a few of the @FRibeiro patches from the link above and when I unzipped them they were .mrk files = miRack files..
All right. I downloaded and unzipped a project on my desktop with the intention of transferring that to the iPad later. I saw the vcv extension and wanted to be sure.
I’ll do the same from the iPad and see what happens.
I must just say an official OMG, miRack is amazing. I never thought I would be able to use my modular with my iPad to this extent, it’s amazing to get 8 gates and 8 cv with clocks or any modulation out from my iPad. I’m so greatful, thank you.
Multi-out AU and it'll be perfect. Already so great, so no rush on this.
Hey guys, I'm going to add more knob touch modes (or whatever this is called). Currently, touch movement in both vertical and horizontal directions is translated into rotation. I'm aware of number of other modes, but what do people like? Any apps with particularly good implementation to look at? Keep in mind there's also multitouch and some of the modes may be difficult to use when controlling multiple knobs.
I've just uploaded a beta with multichannel AU version. It seems to work fine in AUM (anything else supports multi-out AU?) but needs thorough testing.
Amazing! @mifki Just gave it a quick go and so far so good. Time for bed though, will try tomorrow. Thanks for continuing incredible work.💥💥💥
Multi-out in auv3 is fantastic.
Regarding multi-channel out, is there a way to collapse 2 Mirack mono out in a single AUM stereo channel ?
I'm a fan of horizontal knob turns being accepted as fine tuning. Drambo is a good example of this.
Roland ZenBeats can do multi-out, though the UI is pretty obscure...
I usually point people at the knobs on Propellerheads Thor but they also implemented it for Reason Compact as you can see ably demonstrated by Doug here:
The beauty of this approach is that you can dial in ever smaller increments by moving further away while adjusting.
I've never seen a better implementation of knob movements than the Thor synth implementation, where touching a knob brings up a vertical slider that "grows" (giving better precision) the further away from the knob you move horizontally.
Behaviour can be seen here (at about 1:25 in);
I have no idea why not more apps have adopted this metaphor - it feels vastly superior to everything else I've tried.
+1 on Propellerheads approach
Great visual feedback (imo not really necessary) and flexible fine tuning.
Actually my second favourite on iOS is the current implementation in miRack.
You’re so fast, not that I mind, I’m happy. Do you ever have vacation, we want you to hold for a long time.
Amazing, will test this tonight.
