Thanks for the info. One great thing about miRack is the happy accidents. Love the sound I got hooking it up that way. Now I get to do some experiments. 👍🏼
Yea I just love trying to back enigeneer via patch storage. I end up failing by winning anew haha! I have not found any bugs besides my user errors which can be modded via cables in the brain. Just patch the 'think out' into the 'in' music modular socket.
@wim I see what I'm doing wrong now. Thanks for the screen shots!
@mifki its possible to bring polyphony to MiRack?? if yes, its in the roadmap?? Thanks!
ps: any update about midi out???
miRack being used by the great Richard Devine:
just wana say...beta testing midi out! woooot
Yes it is incredible🤘
It's absolutely amazing!!!!! LFOs to everything! And everything in between. I thought I was going to spend time on Drambo this weekend. Not happening. 😁
We live in remarkable times.
THIS ! Incredible what is possible with just plain iPad (or even iPhone)... 20 years ago this was pure scifi, unimaginable... nobody saw it coming...
i have just been testing it to sequence synths... haven’t gotten deeeep yet into the cc outs and everything but that’s going to be my weekend as well!
right! we live in strange but good times 🤣 mirack is taking my mind away from the strangeness
Any top recommends on the sequence module list? Been playing with Turing a bit but not getting too deep yet...
CCs are working great too, though the sequencers are fun, feeding those into other midi AU. Midi-inception. Might send midi cc back into miRack midi AU itself‼️
As an avid VCV user, this is the update I've been most waiting for! Can't wait to finally get it ^_^
Are you allowed to screenshot how for instance some of these ENTROPIA sequencer can be used to sequence my favorite plugins inside AUM!? I am guessing this is possible with MIDI out?!
@david_2017 Just imagine the routing like other midi AU. It supports CoreMidi.
So I don’t need the Spaghetti then to hook it up right? I routed everything in AUM but the Partchcables make me nervous
There's some spaghetti in miRack itself for host transport and clock, but once you have a template you going, save as an AUM or miRack preset. I can share a preset once it comes out or if you get on the beta. 🙂
Does anyone know if this will work as a MIDI effect in NanoStudio? Drambo doesn't show up in the list, though I still don't know if it's Drambo's or NS2's fault.
Just tested modulating and sequencing my microfreak from AUM with mirack, and it works great. Luv mirack
Sending rampage envelopes to filter, mixing it with s&h, sequencing with marbles, works like a charm and consumes hardly any cpu, amazing
By the way, where did bidoo dTroy go, can’t find it in the bidoo library
Yes it's available as MIDI fx type plugin in NS2 and other hosts.
bordL is an upgrade of dTroy with more features, so I hid dTroy. Do you prefer it over bordL for some reason?
Do old presets get updated to use bordL instead of dTroy?
miRack works.. jut you need to load it in normal FX tab, not in MIDIfx tab.
There is a little catch ;-) To my knowledge NS shows in MIDIfx tab just effect which are processing ONLY MIDI.
miRack can process also audio, so it is listed in AUDIO FX tab... But MIDI IN/OUT modules are working as expected.
(i guess it would besame with drambo)
Also some plugins are showing two instances in list - with same name but one with (MFx) - if this is the case, then MFx version processes MIDI
dTroy isn't removed, just hidden from the module browser so that nearly identical modules don't take up extra space there.
Not sure what you mean, miRack should be available in MIDI fx section, too:
@mifki @dendy thanks!
Edit: I wrote this before your last reply, this is great
dTroy is a hardware emulation so some people will probably like it over Bordl.
No problem, I won't hide it.
