    @MatthewAtStagelight some questions:

    • Is StageLight now replaced by zenbeats app? Yes

    - Can existing StageLight customers unlock Zenbeats features?

Yes. Follow the steps at us.openlabs.com and your features and supported content can be migrated to Zenbeats for free for the next 90 days.

    • Can the Zenbeats theme be modified please???.

There are several theme choices to choose from. Go to Settings/Interface and check them out. If you don't see one you like, let us know at https://www.roland.com/backstage/#/zenbeats-support. We're always working to improve Zenbeats!

  • @MatthewAtStagelight In StageLight if you tapped the name in the app the cpu meter appeared if I tap Roland in the rebadged app nothing appears have you got rid of it? All I get now is a Easter Egg space invaders Game !

Well looks like there is a link for Roland Cloud can anyone confirm they made iOS Instruments available through this that has a cloud account. Or is this just for desktop?

Looking into this. The offer is just for desktop.

    @dpeace said:
Hmm. The three Sampleverse preset packs haven’t carried over.

@MatthewAtStagelight - are the staff moving to Roland, or is there a new dev team? Reason I ask is because it’s always a bit of an unknown when a well-supported product moves to a different team.

@dpeace Which packs are you referring to? Also yes, the development team are a part of Roland now.

Great! I am encouraged to hear this.

The packs are these (I realise the LP won’t carry over). Present in SL, but not ZB.

Sampeverse Preset packs 1 of 3 should be included in Zenbeats. Go to https://www.roland.com/backstage/#/zenbeats-support and enter a support ticket to get your account looked at.

  • Actually this Zen invaders game is more fun than a CPU meter am I right in saying you can gain points to pay for content ?

Zenbeats is not available in Cyprus.

    No it’s not.. I tried too.. 😔

  • @MatthewAtStagelight Would be handy if you could list any new changes updates between this and the last version of Stagelight apart from Ableton Link?

    Any more Easter Eggs😀

The meter has been moved into the Eye icon located on top right of the screen. Touch the eye and you will see show hide options for the CPU and Mem meters

  • Seems more fluid in this incarnation..

@MatthewAtStagelight I followed the steps to import the stagelight user key file (which I saved under a zenbeats folder) but the file can not be found in zenbeats even when I navigate to the folder containing the file.

  • Can't even get past the splash screen without it crashing.

Update.. Just checked Cyprus iTunes Store.. Doesn’t even have StageLight in there either now.. I assume Apple are getting ready for the Roland Version.... I suppose if it’s a Cyprus “tomorrow”, then it’s the end of the week.. If it’s a Cyprus “end of the week”, then you can expect it in a Months time.. If it’s in a months time...... We’ll... Ummmmmm... Don’t hold your breath... Best to still use Cubasis for now.... 😂😂😂

    Hi @MatthewAtStagelight
Zenbeats for IOS is not available in the Argentina AppStore (and in some other countries in South America).
Any estimated date for releasing the app? I’d like to transfer all my content from my StageLight account.

  • @MatthewAtStagelight
Roland is lucky to have you and your team

Half my tracks are hobbled by the absence of the Sampleverse presets. Are they gone for good?

Also, I miss the ability to resize the on-screen keyboard.

Hmm Stagelight songs should have saved the sampleverse presets in the solg folder... Go here and fill out a ticket report. https://www.roland.com/backstage/#/zenbeats-support

    Keyboard:
You can now resize the keyboard using the zoom and scroll area located at the top of on-screen instrument section. Drag left and right to scroll. Drag up and down to resize.

Thanks. Understood. I already found those controls, but the absence of the slider in the settings means I can’t adjust the horizontal size of the keys, which my sausage fingers require I do.

  • So exactly what can be ported?

Alright cool. They’ve joined the Roland family and allowed me to bring over my StageLight account fully intact.

Nice work @MatthewAtStagelight congrats on the merger and good luck moving forward 👊🏼™️

Fully intact except all the stuff that won’t transfer over ** if you have any of it.

** Timbaland Loops, Linkin Park Loops vol 1, Linkin Park Loops vol 2, Linkin Park instruments, Timbaland Drums, Linkin Park Drums 1, Linkin Park drums 2, Linkin Park instruments, Synthetic Vol 2, Ambient Soundscapes 1, Ambient Soundscapes 2, The Follower, Smiling Psychopath, Meltdown, Bengal Delta, Brooders, Classic Beats, Thin Ice, Heroes, Goodbye, Bled Dry, Zero Gravity, Clown Hunt, Guru, Future Funk Loops, Dubstep Drums, House Drums, 5 Speed, Duelin, Neon Flight, Fearless, Alien Technology, World Percussion, Organs Vol 1, Neon Keys 1, Neon Keys 2, Lightwave, Vintage FM, Vox tools, Future Funk Drums, Future FM

  • Well the keyboard seems to have a lot more functionality I haven’t played with StageLight for a while so maybe missed a update x y pitch timbre functions pad X numbers hold functions so that’s better.

I beleive this is due to a setting in iOS. Open your Settings app and scroll all the way down until you see Zenbeats. Click on it, then select Document Storage. Make sure On My Iphone/ipad is selected then reload Zenbeats

Oh it seems I've come back to find out if there are any Junos or Jupiters only to see that this is the point in the thread where a developer enters and everyone snaps to, loses the snark, and begins to behave more properly but perhaps less honestly.

  • So, are there any Junos or Jupiters?

Only issue now is that someone appears to have vomited M&Ms all over the keyboard. (I know how to address). FYI, not all the lessons are showing, and some that do reference missing ones.

You caught me snapping to once the developer stopped in (I do honestly think that Roland is lucky to have these guys).

But before the suck-up sounding tribute, I asked the same question page one: what are the sounds, (as in instruments), that are on offer? To me that’s what Roland brings to the party. Some people above said that they bought in, I hope they speak up

It looks like all Roland have brought is the classic drums pack !

  • Careful what you press in the store read over on the Facebook iPad musicians group someone hit the wrong advert and got stung for $99 Roland using points rather than money signs is a bit naughty.

Not sure why you want these in a music app.
