At least we’re two
Isn't that usually the job of the host? Or are we talking purely standalone here?
I am putting on my tap shoes and dancing in support of a Tap Tempo button!
(Ow... I think i tore a tendon... )
I am tapping my fingers in support of a Tap Tempo button! 😋
There’s no possible standalone, ‘cause this beauty “alone” is worthy as three.
I'm serious though. Why is tap tempo needed when any host I can think of has tap tempo already and this will follow it? I'm trying to learn somethin' here.
I was thinking about stand-alone mode, when I’m too lazy to futz with a host. Definitely NOT critical. This app is so well-thought out that I’m straining to think of feature requests! Though it could use a cappuccino maker. 😄
For standalone in my case. I often find myself to use PA without any host for brief sessions just to have some fun. Brief means 15/20 minutes.
But thats like saying why does PR have its own tempo at all? If the app is standalone then it needs its own tempo, same reasoning for tap tempo.
OK. I just thought there might be some other reason I missed other than when using standalone. I almost never run anything standalone. It's just habit. Open AB, load app. Play. I don't even think about it any more. It'd take me longer to find where the app is at on my home screens than it would to load AB and load from there most of the time.
Which is cool, other people use apps standalone sometimes which is why some users like ableton link start/stop and other specifics which don't involve ios hosting.
Do we have an ETA of the AuV3 features?
A few months I think he said.
I can work around it with IAA support in AB3 and AUM. It will be nice when it shows up for NS2.
Are there 1 or 2 x 303’s?

There's one. (And it's a Great one)
It’s the best one. It’s better than the real thing.
When it goes AU you’ll have many! I like it in conjunction with Troublemaker.
Please please please tell me that there will be separate AuV3s for sequencer, synth and drum machine.
This app seems to get better each time I open it.... btw no crashes experienced recently 🤗
@d4d0ug
Just send Program Change on the dedicated channel (bass or drums). Program 0..11 for bass and 0..15 for drums patterns. But remember to send it slightly before the time where bar actually starts.
Does sending PC work like pressing the buttons in that the new pattern starts playing after the current one finishes? (I hope so)
Let me some my opinion on this app.
First app since Figure I am just having fun with .
No BS.
No settings.
No matrix.
No issues.
Make music.
Great sounds.
Near perfect app.
Yes, it will sync to pattern end.
I will add this to the wiki.
Does this support triplets for both drums and synth ? I saw someone request it quite a few pages back.
Triplets - not supported. But drums section supports 32nd notes, which sometimes can "imitate" 16th triplets.
@jimpavloff or anyone else. The only thing I’ve seen with PA is it doesn’t create a folder in iCloud and store presets there. Apps that I have installed since have functioned properly in this respect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled PA with no luck. Not a huge deal since I can export user presets but thought I’d bring it up since everything else has been working so great. 😆
All I can say is that none of my apps support iCloud to this moment.
