@jimpavloff or anyone else. The only thing I’ve seen with PA is it doesn’t create a folder in iCloud and store presets there. Apps that I have installed since have functioned properly in this respect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled PA with no luck. Not a huge deal since I can export user presets but thought I’d bring it up since everything else has been working so great. 😆

All I can say is that none of my apps support iCloud to this moment.

My fault then. I thought it did. 😎 Preset export does the job.

Does this support triplets for both drums and synth ? I saw someone request it quite a few pages back.

Triplets - not supported. But drums section supports 32nd notes, which sometimes can "imitate" 16th triplets.

    Ok thanks

  • Pure Acid + CR-78 drums (Korg Gadget) + AltiVerb (spring), recorded in MasterRecord.

  • @jimpavloff multiouts so we could run different external FX on bass and drums would be great.

You won't necessarily need that when AU comes.

  • PA is fun! My only request for the standalone is, I’d love to be able to render out loops more than one bar long, to capture longer lfo sweeps.

Also, “wrap tail” by capturing the second loop instead of the first, so that the reverb/delay tails are there from the start of the sample and therefore making the loop seamless.

Or even from the 5th loop in case the tails are that long.

True. Not sure how long a AU will take and I’m thinking of my standalone brethren (oxymoron?).

Didn’t @jimpavloff say a month after initial release? I’m OK waiting until its done right if necessary!

I plan to release AUv3 in about 2 weeks (3 max). Currently I'm doing first tests.

Hi, as long as we have your attention ... could you settle a question? Another forum member swears he read somewhere that AU was promised for GrooveRider GR-16. My recollection is that isn't planned (which is OK with me). Did you announce that somewhere? If not, is AU for GR-16 ever planned?

Wow, thanks! Very speedy. After that, i have one more request... take a month-long vacation! 😅

Yay to Jim! Yay for us!

  • Which parts will be AuV3?

    Everything individually?
    •303
    •Drums
    •Sequencer
    •FX

    Uh, uh... Very cool!

  • Pure Acid, AUM & ApeMatrix = Great combination.

Randomly evolving LFOs on the 303, because it doesn’t have the ability to make a bad sound. Wherever those knobs go, Pure Acid always sounds good.

    Holy Kajagoogoo! 🤩

  • Bought PA last week and having a lot of fun with it! Really excited about the upcoming AU feature so we can load up multiple instances. But to be honest: I already enjoy the hands on control with the standalone app. If I may share some wishes:

    • MIDI Out/Export (sequencer as a separate AU would be cool to)
    • Option to save knob/effect settings within the patterns. So if pattern 1 has distortion and pattern 2 not, this will be stored within the pattern.
    • More patterns
    • Import own samples

And please Jim, I think you’re the guy who is able to supply is with some 101/102 and or 60/106 sounds 😉

  • Bit of topic, but this is one skill of our talented @jimpavloff ... Awesome job Geezer...

  • I have noticed this a few times, I wouldn’t swear to it-maybe it’s just me but I was wondering if anyone else had noticed anything similar.
When I am playing with the pattern variables/random a lot whilst changing about the delay I have the sense that this can lead to a degradation of the sound which is then not recoverable to its original form by neutralising the parameters which I have offset, ending up with a somewhat muddied sound.

  • Can anybody confirm any app crashes in v1.0.5 ?

  • @jimpavloff said:

No more crash so far here, neither in AUM or apeMatrix.

  • Wait Jim is also the guy who did those epic making of videos??!?!?! Holy shit

  • @jimpavloff said:

No crashes here. IPad gen 6 iOS 12.3.1

  • @burns_audio said:

Yep... That's why I asked him in one of the videos to make a similar with GR-16 (and now I would add Poison-202 and Pure Acid)

BTW, inspired by him, I made a remake/recreation of Voodoo People all in Beatmaker 2 back then! So sad to have copied the files to a hard drive that was stolen :disappointed:

  • No crashes here either, bouncing along like a frog on a hot tin roof.

One thing I have noticed that I don’t quite understand is - if I’m playing a session in AUM then open a new lane with and open up Pure Acid (with IAA host disabled and Ableton link enabled) - Pure Acid takes over the tempo. So if I was grooving along at 120 (set in AUM also with Ableton Link on) and the Pure Acid pattern happens to be 90 - then the whole lot changes to 90.
