Aparillo - and with this here I completed this list and my Sugar Bytes collection. Strange but fascinating synth, could not miss in my arsenal, isn't it?

I'd recommend Factory as well if you don't have it - similar to Aparillo sound-wise, but with a slightly more intuitive UI.

Thanks @MonzoPro, I have Factory and it's one of my favorite synths. Aparillo was the only SB app I missed. Not exactly my kind of thing but I took advantage of the sale to complete the collection and support the dev, with the hope that its other plugins that are still missing on iOS will arrive soon. Cheers

Yeah, top dev, I did the same with Effectrix, which has turned out to be another stunner.

I'd saved up especially for the FF Bundle, but actually it's been on accidental "sale" since August anyway :)

Ultimate Circle Of Fifths was a nice surprise, what a great app that's turned out to be. Really cool for coming up with unusual chord progressions and also for exploring modes.

I have so many apps it's an embarrassment of riches (actually it's a plain embarrassment full stop). There are many that I know reasonably deeply, but they are still outnumbered by the dozens that I don't.

Exactly. Agreed. Precisely, Entirely. BUT if you hadn't banged the Circle of Fifths drum I wouldn't have and now I have and I'm pleased I did so thank you :)

I haven't had much of a chance to put them through their paces, but early indications are good.

    • Eventide Blackhole
    • Klevgrand Haaze 2
    • Klevgrand REAMP

I also took the opportunity to delete dozens of unused apps from last Black Friday...

  • All of them.

    And most are good, yes.

Indeed. I think a “what apps have you bought but never used” thread could be interesting. I have a load of probably great apps that I jus5 never use.

I’ve found apps I bought last year that I don’t think I even tried. I’m sure the same thing will happen with some of the apps I bought this year.

    I bought;

AudioLayer (wanted to revisit some of my old EXS library) probably won’t use a ton.

Ripplemaker and troublemaker — I have all the other *maker apps and use them a lot. I think I will probably use troublemaker more than pure acid :-)

I have a silly plan to make a Ruismaker/troublemaker versus pure acid track with all the parts made with just those apps. It will probably never happen as I have way more plans than time — maybe if I spend less time on this forum?

mozaic - i want to make some patches to replace stepBud. I like to use stepbud mainly for automating parameters rather than notes but it’s unfortunately too unreliable. I’ve never had an issue with rozeta so am planning to use mozaic to completely replace stepbud.

Zeeon on a whim but that will probably go in a folder with KASPAR, Kauldron and many other potentially great synths that I never use. I should have bought Lagrange instead. Lorentz is one of my favourite synths. I will but Lagrange one day definitely.

Beathawk. - Another I’ll probably not use much. I need more willpower sometimes.

Apematrix — not sure why or if I’ll use it as I already have and love AUM but it looks interesting.

I did manage to keep to my self imposed rule of sticking to universal auv3 apps. So at least that’s a thing.

  • Pure Synth LOTS of sounds
Real and Reg Delayrium LOTS of fun
    Loopfind LOTS of promise
    Lagrange LOTS of synth

Been trying to alternatively convince and un-convince myself from buying KEW.

Watching @echoopera doesn't help the GAS.
    I think I'm safe though.

  • @klownshed Zeeon is golden - just spend a little time with it, it's really awesome. In my top 5 synths (along with Electribe Wave, Factory, Obsidian and Digital D1).

I'd be interested in hearing that if you do. I'm on the fence with Pure Acid, so wondering how it stacks up against the Brambos.

  • A decent haul:
Woodstepper - will take me to next year to figure this one out
    Effectrix
Circle of fifths - liking this very much already
    Bark Filter
    Gestrument Pro

Was all set to get Future Drummer but it’s back at full price, probably a sign to stop now.

UCOF has been top left on my home screen for some months now :)

I’m not as impressed with PA as I thought I would be, sounds awesome, but feels limited in its use, maybe I just need to spend some time with it, it is very fiddly on a phone screen.

Does sound and look good, I’m not a fan of the beatbox type workflow though which is keeping me on the fence. I reckon I’ll fall of with a sale though, useful for loop fodder.

I love the beatbox workflow...as long as I can move that beatbox to a timeline...which you can with this....what is limiting for me is that the synth sequencer cannot do triplets, which are important for what I’m trying to make.

  • Pure Acid was the last app I purchased. Obviously it’s awesome but it also caused me to revisit Poison-202.

I’ve owned Poison since it was released but had deleted it; choosing to use other synths instead. Why???!!!

Poison is amazing, capable of a huge range of noises and sounds top drawer. And it’s universal. Why have I neglected it for so long?

  • Inquired with Appaholics anonymous and was told to buy their app, as to show progress.

Its just IAA but they are working on AU. I can save my responses and use effects to make it sound worse.

  • AU AU AU AU AU chanted the crowd but see, Timmy was still bold enough to mutter IAA and thats the end of the story!

    Wavefolder
    Fugue Machine
    Chordflow
Tonality - for $1.99 this is a steal
Brambos Mozaic - i hope there’s some arpeggio presets, need one in BM3
Apesoft Sparkle - kinda cool but cant get it to sound good on anything but vocals
    Turnado
    TB Morphit
    DerVoco Vocoder
    LoFly Dirt
    Eventide MangledVerb - sounds great
Eventide Micropitch - ditto but more subtle
LoFionic Mani Analog Chorus - smooth silky & only cost .99
    Frekvens freq shifter
BLEASS Reverb - Really nice sounding reverb for 3 bucks
    Brambos Ruismaker Noir (auv3) - ❤️
Brambos Troublemaker - Rebirth 303 all over again
Impaktor - i doubt i’ll ever use it much, but it’s fun. Needs an update
Tardigrain - Pretty good so far but not as much control as i’d like
Moog Model 15 (auv3) - Speaker heater, havng fun playing Assault on Precinct 13 on it
    Poison 202 (auv3) - $5 Excellent digital synth
Apesoft iVCS3 (auv3) $8 - THIS THING IS AMAZING! MY FAVORITE PURCHASE BY FAR
Streetlytron 63 (IAA) $6 - Lovely sounds but not most mellotron-sounding, < Manetron & Mellowsound
Puresynth Platinum 2 (auv3) Rompler - Tons of great bread & butter sounds w/ lots of butter
    LumaFusion

Im going to be busy for a long time learning this stuff. Tried to support as many devs as possible.

There’s still time to get more! Couple of days left! 😄 (teasing... i think i bought just as many).

  • Volt
    Zeeon
    Neo Soul Studio 2
    Sensual Sax
    AUM

Very little time with any of the synths but Zeeon and Neo Soul are impressive. The complete download for NSS2 was 9.05 gb.

Still waiting on Heavy Brass, iSymphonic and a good waterfall kybd controller.

  • Eventide Blackhole for my new Mono Station. Haven't gotten time yet to mess with either of them but preliminary tests sound great. I also use Bleass and EOS and would compare them later.

Lol yeah. Spent about $150 all told, and I’m already having buyer’s remorse on a couple. Are refunds possible within 24 hrs if you’re really disappointed in something? I did my research but video reviews aren’t remotely as good as playable demos.

Effectrix - amazing, happy with that one.

MiRack - going to enjoy exploring it, but not sure how to get audio out...

And that’s it so far. Might add a synth - Poison or Lagrange, but pretty restrained this year.

Audio out module is on the left when you start. If you are talking about recording the output, use it in AUM for starters.

Sussed this out - MiRack is one of those apps that need to be opened first, before loading into AUM.
