  • But would strongly encourage others to request the same, so the demand is clearly recognised

  • Not as musical as Igor's demo :/

  • Is it any good for the EDM brigade?

Hey guys, I have a spare code for Classic FX that I would like to give to someone here as a thank you to all the people in this Forum, which I have really been enjoying being part of through this last few months of craziness.

If you haven't bought the app yet and would like a free copy, put your name down now below. I will assign a random number to each request and do a draw then send the code to the lucky winner about one hour from now. 😉🏆🍾

  • I'll go for it... thx!

  • Krupa has him hand up, got other Ivor apps from years back but interfaces scare me 😳

I’m in for the free code so add my name to the list, thanks!

  • @Gavinski
Is the fader a mix between two parallel fx units or is it morphing one set of modules (algo) into another?

  • You can do both, you can have two different presets on each side, or two variations of the same preset

  • Hey, @Gavinski , yes please.

Sorry, maybe I misunderstood this. What is the difference between mix and morph? Basically it works the same as a cross fader. When fully on the left you only hear the left side, in the middle it is a 50/50 mix, etc etc. It's up to you which presets you morph between. You can also change algorithm while only playing one preset. Hard to explain but u will see what mean, and probably Mark's vid shows this.

  • Hello @Gavinski, thanks for the opportunity. Putting my name in the running also.

Yeah why not. I’ve never won anything in my life, but today could be the day...

Sorry, what I meant was basically reconstructing the algo as it fades to the other side...
With his reputation there can never be too much or too crazy :)

  • I’ve still no idea what you are on about haha. You’ll find out soon enough if today is your lucky day :p

  • Hand up.

  • And the lucky winner is.....

    @allegedly_audible

I’ll DM you the code now

  • Oh wow! Thank you again @Gavinski

  • Damn. Missed that one. Nice one @Gavinski
Guess I’ll have to buy it then later on...

  • Super on my Air2, unreadable on iphone7+

  • @gsm909 once you are familiar with the app, you don't need to be able to read anything except the preset name, basically, because you will be familiar with what each slider does

  • @allegedly_audible my pleasure! Enjoy

It definitely morphs rather than just mixes the audio. Best way to demonstrate is to have the same preset on each side, tweak the echo rate on one side and then move the morph slider. You can hear that characteristic 'catch-up' effect as the rate changes, rather than just fading between two different rates.

    Cool, thanks!
I was going to buy it anyway, because it's a nice sounding workhorse... this definitely adds a little extra to experiment with.

I’ll put my name in the hat. :)

Edit: Oh crap. You already gave it away. That was quick :(

  • Anyone else confirm, on Air2 in AUM, load a Classic FX into an fx slot on 2 or more channels, remove one of them, and the rest all crash.
Also it’s a cpu hungry hog. Max of 4 on my iPad

I'd love to be considered for the free code

EDIT: hadn't read far enough when I posted. Didn't see that it was already spoken for.
