Nothing. It's not supported.
So, you can’t record/loop each AUM channel separately
hoping it is in the works!
there is one thing about this app that i can’t tell it its a bug , or the way it is intended to be.. but i have it set to “ load new session on start up” , however when i open it as an auv3 in a new aum session, it always opens up to my last recording , and i don’t see a way to just start a new project.. i end up having to delete the audio and reset any parameter changes manually .... anyone have insight to this?
@danielfromcodalabs
Same here.
I thought it was only me😂
haha and i thought i was alone as well 🤣 hopefully just users error and we can get it fingered out
It's something related to AUv3 themselves. It should be possible but not trivial it seems. Your better option will be the @espiegel123 loopyHD/AB3/AUM approach.
If you put L7 on a bus, you can set things up to easily route things to L7 by engaging/disengaging the bus sends. See the wiki for instructions about how to it with Loopy and apply the same concepts to L7
If you tap the menu at the top left -> SESSIONS -> NEW SESSION, that will make a new project for you.
Daniel explained that there is an AUv3 memory limitation that is not allowing this. I will go for the Bus workaround as Espiegel suggested 🖖🏽
@danielfromcodalabs
A couple of things.
When recording it goes blank at random.
The app displays that it is recording and it doesn't record anything.
This is what happens with the screen.
Hope all is well.
Yep...same for me...
I cannot find the overdub feature for the love of me. Any helps? Thanks in advanced
When you have recorded a loop.
Press and hold the loop.
The loop will change and show options.

Thanks man!!! Time to give it another shot then 👍🏼
No worries.
Have fun.
I'd like to chime in with my agreement here. If there is a better way to share these bugs than this forum, happy to do that elsewhere. Cheers.
Nope. It's by design and he has said that will not change.
You probably don't really need multiple instances if you set it up on a bus channel and just send whichever plugins you want to it as needed.
And this is why I stuck with Enso til now
Why. Only. One?
I have not ventured down this road personally but I read on here way more issues with AudioKit apps then i do praise.
From what I can gather, it can record up to 16 tracks in one instance.
If you were to load it up standalone and as an
auv3 that theoretically could go up to 32 tracks.
The only other way is to email the dev directly as far as I know.
If your solution is multiple Ensos then this app probably wasn’t the right solution to begin with. This is intended for creating co-ordinated loops. Doing that with the Enso’s or other loop-per-instance is a major pain particularly if you are looping on the fly.
Enso and L7 aren’t designed for the same use case.
Ok. I begin to see. I was pulling the trigger on the intro sale so I am not really sad but L7 never clicked with me. Even the overdub is only for one circle. No direct overdub after first recorded loop. I may absolutely not be the target user then.
Question.
I’m trying to record a 24 bar loop. So I need to use the “A” option. I need to use midi bindings for hands free. Problem is it’s not working. “Record Automatic Loop” seems to start okay, but when I use the “Stop Recording Automatic Loop” binding it doesn’t stop recording. It adds a new track and starts counting down, from or to what I don’t know. I’m using a iRig BlueBoard...cc20 and 21 respectively, ch 1. IAA and AUv3. Nothing else going on setup wise. 2020 iPad Pro. Is this a known issue?
I want to like this app. I keep trying to use it. The empty track and the above problem leave me scratching my head.
Well I’ve determined that my problem is not a audiokit l7 issue. The problem is with my blueboard. I’ve had it less than a year so let’s see how they treat me with a warranty claim...
Yes you can. I did a quick tutorial for this. It's in French, but I'm sure with the video that you will understand.
But for whatever reason, sometimes, the first time I start recording, I record nothing. I then close the app, restart and then the audio is recorded. It happens a couples of times to me.
How extensively can this app be controlled with MIDI? Can I start/stop each individual track with a MIDI note/CC? If yes, is there the option that a loop is played only while the note triggering it is held? Like the "hold" mode in a drum sampler for example...
Hy guys

I have problems with L7 audiobus links, the app remains dormant and no start / stop / registration icons appear
I have an iphone 8 with ios 14.4.1 the app version is 1.42 does anyone have this problem?
Someone else reported having this problem with iOS 14
thanks for the info, so it's a useless app, I don't record anything with the microphone
