@Pandan thanks! Yes, I meant version 3.4… IAA or AU doesn’t make a difference, still doesn’t show up. BTW, which iOS are you running?
What OS are you using?
Can you post a video?
I think that the recording controls are only exposed in the audiobus palette for the IAA version of the looper.
I’m on iOS 14.5, and I think I mis-spoke earlier, since I have the latest L7, that means it is AU only right? If so, I never had a chance to test the IAA version.
As far as I know, they never removed the IAA. I have what I believe is the latest version and both standalone and AU operation are possible.
Well if that’s the case, then I’m stumped 🤔 I tried running it as an effect and as the destination, but neither showed the record controls on the sidebar.
Were you loading as IAA or AUv3? It sounds like you are loading as AU.
If you make a screen recording of your setup procedure and and how you are using it, it will be easier to help you. Perhaps you have run into a bug or perhaps there is some detail of how you are getting it setup that is relevant.
Here are some screenshots for you to ponder over… I really appreciate the help!
As an effect, I can select either IAA or AU (I tried IAA as suggested):

As the destination, only IAA was available, but oddly it only had the iPad mic as the audio input, even though Animoog was clearly the audio source, so that didn’t work at all:

As a result, all I got was a blank spot where the record controls should be on the sidebar:

I wonder if it is related to the issues posted up-thread a little. Maybe L7 still has iOS 14 issues or hasn't been updated to use a recent Audiobus SDK?
@Michael?
Let’s hope it’s a bug and will get fixed soon. Thanks again for your help.
I also noticed that 48k sampling rate didn't seem to work.
[Edit] I think I will just wait for the release of Loopy Pro, it seems L7 is no longer supported by the developer.
Not long now. Public beta soon!

That’s great!
