Version 1.2 is up on Patchstorage: https://patchstorage.com/midi-adsr/

This one adds a knob to set whether pass notes through or block them. It should let you both play and send CC's to Ravenscroft without added routing. Whether the CC64 hack described above works for what you want or not remains to be seen. Apps don't expect to see a constant stream of sustain CC messages like that. They expect a switch on and switch off only.

It would be easy to write a script that just sends a cc64 On then Off message after a settable interval if the flood of messages causes problems.

The script takes Note On/Off messages in, and generates an ADSR waveform on the selected CC. You need to also route the Note messages directly to the synth for it to play notes.

Ahhh! That version (v1.1) doesn't pass notes through. It wasn't intended to originally.

Thank you, this explain everything :)

Thank you very much @wim for your patience and help! It works now, what a beautiful morning!

I'm pretty sure I will understand everything from your 1.2 script. Mozaic programming style is different from I know but I see now it is necessary to dive into it. I will do that as my homework soon.

  • Cool. I’m glad we got to the bottom of it. 👍🏼

  • anyone got fac envolver working in cubasis?
i want the envelope of a drumloop controlling the time of a reverb.
