Zenbeats works great for me and I like it a lot. The IAP is usually $15. I already purchased for iOS and Windows so maybe I can pick up Android for the fun of it. I love that it's cross-platform and you can transfer projects back and forth. The scanning can take a while and it a little annoying but I wouldn't let it dissuade you from trying it out.

I’m really enjoying this gift horse, though it does seem to drink a lot of juice...

That’s your problem then, you’re supposed to lead the horse to water, not juice.

I think I may have mixed my metaphors a bit too much :)

@eross on the mix screen :)

weird mine says midi sync. i don’t know what setting i messed up. but thank for the tip. now i know where to look

  • Getting Zenbeats to scan 165 AUv3s is a real Sisyphean Task isn’t it. It basically scans one and then crashes.

  • Although, I think I’ve found a way to shame it into doing what it’s told. I thought it would make an amusing looping gif, launch, scan, crash etc. so I started a screen recording and suddenly Zenbeats was able to scan the lot of them in one go.

  • @eross said:

You have midi sync turned on so figure out how to turn it off, maybe in settings? Elastic is synced to midi so you can’t change the tempo in Elastic.

  • @eross

This might be where you change the settings you need :)

Great trick for the AB Wiki!
How to make apps follow my command 😁

    that‘s hilarious.

  • Few more sales... Melody Composer sometimes drops to a way lower price....

The Vocal Soloist app has changed price 11 times since January. The developer must have some kind of automated script which keeps taking a pound off and putting it on again.

Yeah, I tune out (pun intended) those 4pocket apps from sale updates because they are constantly going on sale. Seems like every other day it’s digistix.

  • 4 pockets does have a lot of apps out there and all the icons look the same. he does do some more than others but he often rotates which apps are on sale.

That sounds like fun... I think I’m going to pass on checking that DAW out.

Is this the only auto-tune AuV3 available?

Don’t be too quick to write Zenbeats off. My AU scan crashed once then completed the second time. Since then it’s rock solid and as I learn what it can do I’m feeling good about it. I had no interest in it when it came out because my initial experience with it was poor. Now I’m seriously considering it as my main iOS DAW. FWIW. YMMV.

Antares makes an app that supposedly has an AU. It’s five bucks.

Thanks. Got it. Works just fine.

  • Price bouncer

  • Ah for a second I thought that might have been the Humbletune ‘Humble Bundle’...

  • Also not ios, but 50% off synth upgrades at roli. I’ve been waiting for an equator upgrade sale for a while, finally got the full equator.

Now I am banning myself from purchases for a while. :#

  • @mrufino1 ive told myself that before and it didn’t last to long. Lol

  • Currently no mpe synths on ios that can compete with the trio of roli / fxpansion synths for desktop, well worth getting! I like cypher 2 also for weirder sounds and great modulation but equator is wonderful for more conventional stuff
