Sales sales and more sales Happy Halloween Everybody!

Ok, I snagged Sector after realizing it’s from @Kymátika plus y’all’s reaction might have pushed me just a little
Now OBXD just dropped $3 to $3.99 3 minutes ago
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ob-xd-auv3-synth/id1465262829
how is their other synth, opl? the bundle is only 7.99
How could y'all be missing on Sector?

@noob its totally up your alley
That why I say 'Dont ignore because it isn't AU or doesn't even have IAA/AB'
Sometimes there are hidden gems out there
Regarding bitwiz I never mastered it, but I recall Clif Johnston (from Apptronica) using it damn well
Audioshare is essential for many iOS music tasks ... SECTOR is fantastic. Tightly integrated with AUM over IAA, so much so that it almost feels like an AU.
I have OPL, a lot of presets, so you’ll run into a lot of useless ones. Other than that it sounds great and is easy to control. The user interface may not be up to your liking, it’s got no fancy whistle and bells, it’s simple and to the point.
I would buy either of them and then see if the bundle goes down. I have OPL and Schroeder and they gave me the complete bundle option for one dollar today... picked up OB-XD.
thanks for that info, i’m cool with strait synths, sounds kinda fun.. bought obx to test the bundle theory it stayed the same so no loss!
Playing around with the OB-Xd rn, I must say I like the way it sounds, more than the OPL, and still a lot of preset. More function ability then the OPL. Both are nice synths and worth the price with or without the sale.
i once read a story about a dog,
)
out walking one day, it came upon a whole roast chicken under a bush
obviously very pleased, everytime the dog then passed that bush,
it had to check to see if another magic chicken would be there ....
looking forward to drumcomputer

That’s a steal.
@Gavinski did a 1 min jam with several OPL instances.
I have the auv3 scope so bundle is $7 flat, hard to resist.....
Here’s the bundle link
https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/discodsp-auv3-bundle/id1535432366
So are you saying you just bought OBXD and bundle did not drop in price?
Did you do scroll to the bottom of App Store page and scroll back up trick?
How are OBXD and OPL on DSP/CPU? Are they “lightweight,”average, Or cpu hogs?
If you buy things on sale they don't count toward bundle reduction.
I'd say light/average, but I'm on an iPad Air 2 so I never use an insane amount of instances...
True, but buying the OBX-d for $3.99 drops the bundle price down to $4. So it doesn't hurt to dip your toe in.
+1

Not that you need convincing, but psa1000 and the jr version are both incredibly useful. I have them for iOS and Mac. I use them on every mix, and rarely on guitar.
75% off of their desktop apps too with the code HALLOWEEN75.
My biggest use for AudioShare is doing quick recordings when I only have my phone and no mics handy, for a rehearsal or at a live gig where I need to document something unexpected. Having the level control to turn DOWN the iPhone mic is incredibly valuable, as is using measurement mode. I wish it would save those settings between launches, sometimes I have to do it very last minute. If the question was “what is the most useful app you’ve ever purchased?” That would be right up there if not the winner.
Thanks @Samu Good to know. I’m gonna dip my toe in with OBXD. Cheers.
They do count towards the bundle price in almost every case I’ve seen, but you only get a deduction amount based on the price you paid for the app. So if you got it free, it will not deduct from bundle.
Is AUM really on sale it is 20.99 $CAD
How useful is AUM if I already have Audiobus? I only use Audiobus for quick test.
I'm using it for experiments and tests mainly, composing music inside AUM is much too fiddly for my taste.
That’s what people told me about Audiobus. I hardly ever use it. What is better about AUM?
