what a great app. thanks a lot for your work and generosity @analog_matt
So this is an epiano, multi sampled and recorded to vinyl, then resampled back from the vinyl and made in to an instrument ?
@analog_matt
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth or anything...
Retropiano is missing some samples. Highest velocity samples below B0 don’t sound, other velocity samples are fine.
Liking it anyway, just shoot the beta testers...
.
That's exactly right. They will go to the top tier pricing.
If someone buys it by mistake, and then refunds, I guess that costs you ? At top tier that’s gonna hurt.
The vinyl noise knob could have a toggle, constant noise so that it sounds like an old recording, or note triggered for Tap to toggle or a toggle switch near it. I want to use both
I think it’s going to be the high price thing. Still on store, os update updates, but ridiculous prices.
We're pretty familiar with all the latest and past information on this topic, and 90% we won't be charged. But, anything is possible...
Today is a great day for all of us fans of Attack Attack! and Metro Boomin. Thanks to @danielfromcodalabs and @analog_matt respectively.
With WOOTT and 8180 Monster Tube also having been released this week, this has been the heaviest week ever. Very fitting.
I can’t get the piano app to load in AUM without crashing but the tuner app works
Maybe open the app in stand-alone and then go back to AUM
Ta very muchly
Hello ?
Thanks but I already did that, played around with it in stand alone first. Sounds nice , maybe my iPad Air 2 is too old
Damn, reboot the iPad if you haven’t. I know the struggles of the AIR2
Can’t comment on Retro Piano because I didn’t work on it, but 90% of people that have issues with L7 have an iPad Air 2. There’s something up with that model
Thank very much Matt & team Audiokit! That darn Retro Piano sounds fantastic and now the very astonishing AudioTune comes along and completes my arsenal. Both are first page winners on my iPad.
Retro piano is out of tune.
Over a semi tone.
Played it alongside a few other synths from the same sequencer and either it’s out of tune, or all the other synths are out of tune.
(Inside AUM, sequenced with Atom)
Is this why AudioTune was released on the same day? 😆
Its out of tune at 48 kHz and in tune at 44.1kHz.
It works fine in AUM on my iPad Air 2. What iOS version are you on?
No issues. Air 2 , iOS 13.4.1
Whats weird is I noticed it was out of tune on my iphone 8 plus running the ios 13.5.1 but on my ipad Air 2 running the same ios version as my phone retro piano was in tune.

That’s probably it.
Running AUM at 48 kHz.
But, none of my other synths/samplers have an issue with this.
Its a common bug. Most apps have been fixed by now, but you probably do have one or two sitting in your unused pile that still have problems with this, unless you're just real lucky. I imagine @analog_matt and the crew will get it sorted out soon.
I dunno what it is about this, but I find it very, very satisfying. It's a favorite already (48khz bug notwithstanding.)
Confirmed.
Changed settings to 44.1 and it’s back in tune now.
Thanks.
Hahahaha
Snagged both, looked down, wearing my AudioKit t-shirt by total coincidence.
Use 48khz for additional Lo-fi and general dischordness
