What does this app do that is special vs egoist for example?
I have been wondering the same sort of thing myself. I have come to the conclusion that if Egoist does everything you want then it won’t do anything special for you - it doesn’t have its own built in sequencer or any random buttons or effects so some people might think it is less special than Egoist... (I’m not sure if it has a threshold setting for the transient detection - but I’m sure someone will let us know)... it doesn’t seem to have a name yet either.
It does have AUv3 multi-output, re-pitching, polyphony, multi colours, timestretch, keyboard/pad mode, tap to add a slice point as it plays-
Well I can’t decide between Reslice, this upcoming EG, and Chompler by MSX also soon to be released, I want one of the 3 but I’m waiting to see the 2 Yet to be released apps in action.
I didn’t know egoist did this sort of thing I thought I was more of a groovebox... huh I’m gonna have to take a look at Egoist.
Being able to record in as fx is really handy for me.

Wait hold on - I missed this recording function in the effect slot bit. Now you’re whistling Dixie. - is it anything like GlitchBreaks then? Or is recording the sample then manipulating it separate actions?... or how smooth is the transition between recording and mashing?

I see that the control sliders are purple and that the last slice is also purple. Are the effects individual per slice? I can’t quite tell from the video.
