Yea well @OmnilimbO totally crashed this party. Drank all the punch. Pissed in the pool. Tweaked some knobs. Passed out. And hence Oscilab didn't want to show up. :( But I heard there might be a new party tonight!

  • I hope so - itching for this one and the Cubasis automation.

  • What can I say... the punch was damned good, I was impersonating a fountain, and knobs are for tweaking. I don't recall much after that. Good times!

  • This looks damn interesting! I understand the want/need for AudioBus, but for rhythm sequencers of any kind, to be honest, I get tired of fighting performance issues. ACP allows me to just cut and paste a measure or two or four and loop it without worrying about clicking and glitches.

Are you guys guessing, or is this seriously imminent? That link about did nothing for me here in the U.S.

  • I'm guessing but the dev has been promising this for a few weeks now and he has created the link and someone who's been beta testing this app said it is imminent. So fingers crossed...

  • Would really like to know the release date for this one.

  • This looks kind of amazing. Hoping for song mode. Didn't notice one in the video.

You can create 14 different "scenes", which can be selected back and forth.

    Sorry, double post.

  • does oscilab have sample import?

  • Not that I can tell.

  • In all the excitement no one has mentioned price !
I wonder how much, you guys thinks this is worth ?

  • Just got an email from the dev that said "We've closed our beta period, we are really close to the initial release!"... so yeah, as suspected.

As for price, hard to say... it looks pretty capable... I just hope that the drum section is synthesis based and that the kit sounds have access to the parameter changes to build your own sounds and kits.

  • It looks fun and capable for sure. But that demo video with the same old 909 drums 4 on the floor thing going on with some chiptune sound, do sound a bit old by now, and doesn't sell the app as well as they prolly could. Yea, hoping for some sample import. Oh, and the partaaaay starts in an hour!

  • In an hour?!? Shit, I better go make some mashed potatoes right quick.

  • Lol. I LIED! WAS ALL LIES! No party :(

  • FB page says officially in review (post was an hour ago) ... @ChrisG, time to dust off your party shoes again.

  • Cool. Yeah, that was a bit of a head fake last week on the release :)

I'll look at this one - if the price is reasonable and I can imagine a unique use for it, I would be interested, but there is a lot of redundancy in some of these new apps.

  • Yea! The party starts in a few hrs (for real this time, pinky promise).

  • ...and finally, looks like we get to play. I bet those Apple guys had fun with this one.

  • Doesn't it take days to get reviewed? I was kinda assuming a few days..

A review can take anywhere from just a few min to weeks/months (that only happens if an app is "controversial" in some way and/or walking a very fine line between Apples guidelines/rules policies). Usually we're talking hours though. Oscilab? It'll be here very soon. And it's going to be the bestest app ever. Even if it sucks.

Lol... Ok it's party night then :)

  • Yeah, that app better get here soon... I'm like totally covered in mashed potatoes at this point.

  • This app looks cool and original, i like this kind of apps that looks designed for touchscreens

  • I'll be staying up late tonight hitting refresh in the hope it drops.
