  • No audiobus on this? I wanted to get it as an output for AB so that everything you cook up sounds a little better... No news on this?

You mean record into Final Touch? Nope can't do that. You need something on the other end to catch the audio that's being run through FT. See it as a regular (multi)effect unit. That said, positive grid could perhaps implement some record facility in a future update ? Send em a message!

  • Not really record, I guess I meant more like an effect instead of an output. So the sound goes through final touch, enhancing the sound and then into loopy or any output.

Yea, you can put FT in an effect slot in Audiobus (or IAA).

Wha whaat? Thats perfect. I could not find it under the supported apps inside AB effects section. There is even the option to let the devs of final know? Must be an error then? Thanks for the reply really stoked now!

    Never mind, wrong thread, sorry!

  • ok I just got ft...sounds cool so far but im just rollin through the presets

  • A question for all or anyone: hi ! I would like to bring audio into my iPad Air, such as two mics, line in from another device, then mix it like on a studio console, then apply some effects like those found in Final Touch, then record it. I have Audiobus, GarageBand, and Auria. I'd like the simplest possible solution. So....can anyone suggest a good setup?

I would also point out that the Positive Grid website says that Final Touch is Audiobus compatible, yet it is not listed on the Audiobus web site.

    Thanks in advance! John

  • Just had a app rush and finally downloaded Final Touch and it's not showing up in Audiobus 2 am I missing something in the settings got background on etc ? Anyone please!

  • I think PG have a few things to work out. Prior to AB2 launch, FT would show in all three AB slots, now it only appears in the effects slot. I'm sure a fix is en route. IAA as well.

  • Using Final Touch alone without audiobus, how do I set a loop on replay of a wave or portion of wave ? I can't find how ?

  • I don't think you can do that in FT actually. I know you can in Audio Mastering though, but I didn't see that in FT either when I was reviewing.

Yep. I missed that tool when I bought it, which is basic. If not in the next update(s), I'm afraid I'll finish buying Audio Mastering.

Yes, it's an important update we need !

Anyone having a problem tranfering a file using Audio Copy? Seems to imports the wav OK but it just shows as a solid blue bar instead of the file. It also seems to add a few megs to the file size when importing sometimes

Same problem here, even importing from dropbox or whatever other app.
    iOS 8.1.2 iPad Air
    Anyone with the same problem?
The imported audio file doesn't sound as playing them in other apps.

  • No problem here. Tried an Open In... from AudioShare and an import from DropBox. Air 1, iOS 8.1.2. Maybe a format issue? I only use .wav with Final Touch. AudioShare provides an easy way to convert.

Ok found that if you play anything in Finaltouch with the iPad speaker sounds different than Audioshare or others but identical if you use headphones!

  • I wrote them a long time ago about the audio problems with their app, it suffers from the audio bug, the same bug that Auria had.
They didn't even respond to me or fix it

  • They replied to my email, saying they will check it out, fingers crossed.

  • I've had good luck with them returning emails for me as well.
