Spacecraft beta
Anyone else unable to get the latest beta via test flight?
Got an email announcement Re new build... but it’s not in TestFlight?
@deltaVaudio any news?
Comments
seamed to work ok for me. maybe send the dev a message and see if there is a compatibility issue
yes, i got the notification banner on the home screen ,, but in testflight Spacecraft still says “Build Removed”
i wonder if @eross is on ios 14?? maybe this is a 14 compatibility beta? i am not on 14 on either of my machines..
@id_23 Yup, same here. And i am on 14.
In the mail from TestFlight it says iOS 9.3 or higher - so iOS version should not matter.
Anyway i was very happy to see a lifesign from @deltaVaudio (Mark)
Working fine here, 13.6
Edit: download yesterday just when the notification shown, but today it appears as “build removed” maybe it was a mistake by the dev, this beta seem to be the same as the last one from Jan/feb.
Yeah, was gonna say, this is a great sign, hope Mark is recovering OK ✌️
Last I heard Mark said the update was on hold as he was back in hospital at the start of September , hopefully he is back out now and well enough to code.
I was quick enough to get it and reported bugs already, maybe he's doing substantial fixes now...
anything new, or just fixed bugs?
Hi guys, still in hospital but finding some time to work on my baby.
Yeah, I royally screwed up and expired the build just after it went live (not realising it had gone live already), so sorry about the confusion. v2.5.3 is currently awaiting apple review for beta testing.
No real bug fixes here, just new features. Here are the build notes in case you're interested in the mean time...
all features adopted from the VST version with the EXCEPTION of variable number of grains and variable sample duration
to try out the new infinite mode, hit settings and to the right hand side you will see 'sampling mode' option menu. Once infinite is selected, hit record --> the input via the mic will be continuously fed into SC. Note that, in infinite mode, the grains are located to the left of the crosshair in order to allow near-zero latency when granulising incoming audio.
wow... great new features
Thanks for your continued work!
Best wishes for speedy recovery!
How does one request joining the beta?
And Best Wishes to Mark!
@deltaVaudio thanks Mark, great to hear you are feeling a bit better!

new 'infinite' mode*: continuous buffer allows you to hit record and granularise in real-time
all features adopted from the VST version with the EXCEPTION of variable number of grains and variable sample duration

Glad you are well enough to work, Mark. So much discussion about after effects of the virus. Is this what is happening to you? Best wishes to you and your family. Mike
After I came out of 7 weeks of intensive care I was heavily delirious and my legs were fused in a 90deg bent position. Since then I've been in a specialist rehab unit working on trying to stand and walk. At the moment I can just barely walk with a Zimmer frame. I'm lucky to be alive and thankfully my brain seems not to have been affected. Overall I'm quite happy and relieved. I go home on 12th October
Here's a clip I created using the new infinite mode. It involved hitting a glass with a spoon and whistling
