The other options are pure greed...

The price is in the Roland Cloud Manager $230

Ok, then they going do what Audio Damage does, drop one zero for the iPad/iOS version (ie. $23) :D
Considering that there would no bigger issues with pirated software on the iPhone/iPad it could work...

Well the Synth is called ZC1, in anticipation of 2 perhaps.

  • ZC1 is already in Zenbeats 1, right? so I’m not sure what as changed really more than a lot of new patches.

No it was not. Brand new synth based on ZenCore

  • Are you sure? my zenbeats 1 has it already, but only with around 70 patches

Then you would not have Zenbeats Version 1.

Yes I have that version 2.0.1.8101 for several months (04/08/2020 where it was free) and i have not done any recent update or paid anything.
Although in the store section of Zenbeats I have the option to unlock "IOS unlock V2" "including 2500+ presets, loops and sounds (1.5GB), full Zc1 synth with 90 MFX... " that's why I thought we were talking about this new version, and I find it confusing that we are talking about ZC1 when it is in Zenbeats from april.

ZC1 made it's debut in the most recent update. It definitely wasn't there in April.

The app version is now 2.0.1 - no unlock required - which includes a feature-limited version of ZC1 with a relatively small number of presets. The "v2 Unlock" just unlocks the full ZC1 synth and additional presets.

(Maybe ZC1 was there on a different platform such as Windows, or Android? Or maybe you're confusing it with SampleVerse?)

  • Seems I'm going through the similar journey with Zenbeats like I had with BM3.
I installed ZB when it came out, but its UI was too weird for me so after a few attempts I gave up and deleted it. 2-3 months later (because I read many positive opinions on this forum) I reinstalled, but I still found the UI weird. That time I didn't delete, but didn't use it either.
When 2.0 came out recently I gave it another try and I don't think that the UI changed, but for some reason I don't find it weird any longer... Actually I started to enjoy, so I have unlocked the iOS V2 pack. Very nice Roland patches, which I missed so far in the iOS music production. Also it was a surprise how easy to import audio loops with the automatic tempo stretch.
I still don't know if it will be my primary DAW in the long run, but it is definitely a candidate for the role

Just wanted to share my thoughts.
