If it behaves as smooth as in the video then it will be WAY smoother than BM2's and Auria's!
Can't wait!
How badly will automation kick my iPad Air cpu's ass?

Hmmmm, better let me borrow your iPad Air and let me test it for you.![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Not much at all given midi implementation. This will be yet another great feature I look forward to recording all sorts of commands now.

cubasis is quite friendly to the cpu,i guess it will be fine.
1.8 update will be in May:

Even though they pushed the date back, I'm happy they're keeping users informed. If a later date means a more stable product, I'm all for it.
Beginning or end of may?
Anyway,i prefer a stable release also

All for stable here also. The last update left me wanting for a little while with some issues but Cubasis is now running as smooth or smoother than any app I own thankfully given how much I depend on it. I am glad they put so much into this app also.
Just got a refund for Auria so Cubasis may be on the cards. Will probably wait for the next update though.

Can I ask what the issue was with Auria for you? You probably discussed it in another thread and I'm not trying to hijack this one. Just curious though.
I got plastered with 'cpu overload' and 'memory full' pop ups even with a total 2 audio tracks and turnado and imini. When I was told that imini is the culprit I tried with isem and others and still managed to get them. I'm used to running bm2 with loads of audio tracks and many apps running alongside without any problems so having to constantly watch my cpu and ram seemed like a step back. I know many people here love it so maybe it is just me and Auria that don't mix![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Interesting @supadom, I bought Auria last week and couldn't be more pleased. I have had no memory or CPU warnings at all and it seems to use the same and maybe less resources than Cubasis. I am now using both until I'm 100% with Auria but I can see me dropping Cubasis until the update arrives at least.
I got refused a refund for Cycler3D, how the hell did you get one for Auria?
I was using Auria only before the Audiobus update, strictly because of the plugins. Now I been playing a loop or whatever into Auria output, then using Auria again as in input in a different chain and recording into Cubasis. Best of both worlds I guess. Even with multiple plugins running at once in Auria, I'm having no problems. Ipad 4
2 phone calls and 1 chat with Apple customer service. Wavelabs didn't even make a squeak. I did everything via apple. They did say it's only in these exceptional circumstances but I guess if something ain't working as it's supposed you are covered by customer law which may vary from country to country.
Thanks @supadom, just different customer service rep attitude at Apple I reckon. Anyway can't be bothered wasting more energy for a lousy $11. Cubasis is a great product and certainly worth your consideration though.
I'll get it when I have more time for recording. The heat is building up at the uni, final year. It's only gonna be one night stands/casual looping jams with ios music for a few months. Makes me wanna cry.
