That's 73 minutes at the default tempo of 110BPM. Lower the BPM and you'll get a lot longer recording times LOL.
Now I want more than 2000 bars, that's another limit I'll never reach unless I go crazy at 999BPM or something

Seems like the GarageBand update brought us a revised sampler but still no way to 'trim' or 'normalize' the samples, better than nothing though
(Hopefully some day it will be on par with the QuickSampler in Logic).
