  • @Lorichs Thanks! That's really kind of you to say.

Right up my ally! Nice chilled vibe. 😎

  • Here’s a quick demo of a piece I’ve been working on in AUM. This particular recording ended in what I’m calling a “GeoFailure”! (I had something wired up wrong and my GeoSax was playing all kinds of notes I wasn’t telling it to using the on screen GeoShred surface) So its short. I’m trying to figure out how to control the GeoShred GeoSWAM Tenor Sax with my Launchpad Pro MK3 controller.

The bass sound is coming from Mela 2 driven by an instance of Atom 2 that contains 2 different Bassline patterns. These 2 patterns are switched back and forth by another separate instance of Atom 2 on every 2 bars.

Drum Computer with 2 patterns, changing every 8 bars via yet another instance of Atom 2.
(Drum Computer’s sequencer is amazing with its probability tools. You can set a particular sound to hit on only every 8th bar for example.)

And then the end where GeoShred goes haywire lol

    A work in progress!

GeoFail aside, I’ve had that ^^^ groove stuck in my head all day long!

This sounds cool man!!! Some great apps going in there and squeezing some nice sounds out! I need to look into getting the launchpad mk3 I’ve been trying to use circuit but it just isn’t as good with MIDI out to multiple things

Love the spaciousness of your sound.

Thanks! Believe it or not, (if you don’t count the GeoShred failure at the end) there’s only two apps making sound; Mela 2 for the bass sound, and Drum Computer for all of the percussion sounds. I will say that I spent a loooooong time dialing in those drum sounds in Drum Computer.

Thank you! Love DC’s sequencing and pattern capabilities! This demo barely scratches the surface.

  • A showcase of using many copies of AddStation as some people experience problems when adding two or more. You do have to choose which ones you use together as some are very heavy. Text from the YT post:
"One user was disappointed he could only drive two copies of AddStation and AUM started glitching. My answer to avoid this is to choose which presets one uses as especially the ones with many blocks, if it's filled up you can expect heavy. There are some that are heavy for other reasons (animated LFOs). I just wanted to show an example where I use six(6) copies and the DSP meter jumps about around the 65% mark."

I'm only using one note on the built-in keyboard in AUM and, I do not start AUM :) (there's no difference regarding the CPU, I did test have it running too)

  • Back again with some AUM and Atom2 fun. Enjoy !

    You’re still using Atom 1? 😲

lol hey whatever works right? Love the piece! I think your style is closest to mine from everyone I’ve heard on the forums. Always tasteful!

Wow, there’s a lot going on there!

What do you think about the new Cube synth? You’re the first person I thought of when they were talking about how this is basically 4 Addstations in one. I was like “yeah, @Pxlhg is gonna love THIS!”

:D Yeah I just crammed stuff in to prove a point. :joy:
I have bought it but I haven't really got into it yet. Still going back to AddStation which I basically been married to for the last month or so, to get all finished for the release. It, the Cube, depending a bit on MPE which I don't have in any proper form (Roli or whatever) but it sure sounds great and I will dissect it in due time to get the proper order of setting new stuff up :)
    Be well,
    Ulf

  • A little quiet in here lately. Hope you’re all doing well. Keep jamming.

  • Loving all these jams!!!!!

  • Beatmaker 3 time.

  • I dont make much of techno or electronic stuff. Rather admire the acoustic real natural sounding instruments. And who can be more realistic than SWAM instruments by audio modeling...
Here is a famous song (Auld Lang Syne) played in SWAM Cello and Violin using Geoshred only... Sorry, no screen recording available..

  • Me trying out Lunar Lander a couple of weeks ago.
