My wife has been through a similar situation to yourself, in the last ten years she's lost both her parents.
One of her brothers was in a coma for two years before passing away.
Now her eldest brother a professor at a local university for many years has developed Alzheimer's disease and we take it turns to look after him.
Life isn't always easy but just keep praying ( he, is listening ) and you'll be alright Jo.

so happy to hear he is home. i know there is more to all this than just Doug's hospitalization, and it is wonderful how you are facing all of this and still reaching out to us. please jo, remember to eat well and get plenty of sleep yourself. exercise if you feel stressed, and post online if you want to talk to people who want to hear you. here is a series of messages left on a post for Doug on Facebook today (iPad musician group)

Glad to hear that you are out of hospital. Experiencing vision problems is terribly distressing. I went through a similar experience from similar symptoms as you. I am sure your vision will fully recover as mine did. Don't miss out on your medication, I did and really suffered. My prayers are with you and I am confident that you will be back on your feet soon making me spend money again. Jo sorry to see what you are going through. Best wishes to the both of you.
