Thank you very much!!
Hoping Drambo makes auto slice. So when you record a loop via sampler. Slicing will be in realtime along with loop recording. If I use a keyboard to record midi to a drambo sequencer that points at another drambo audio loop ). Then maybe you just couldnt use the last slices at beginning of loop but to also have option for overdubbing slices to original loop recording. Or playback of un-sliced and sliced loop. Then just use chance and arps on sequencer
Open question to all Drambonions out there.....
Once I've added an AuV3 instance on a track, for example Ruismaker Noir, can I control the VCA Decay with the scene slider?
.....actually, forget that, I just did it. Very intuitive, nicely implemented & Powerfull. That is so very very cool.
Top work @giku_beepstreet
What's on the Drambo wish list these days?
Piano Roll?
MIDI File player module?
I really need another IAP to be excited about.
You don't really want to know. One screen page isn't enough and new request floods incoming...
But patchstorage could be a nice time waster again.
Oh and btw, I'm currently designing a new guitar pedal. Not a distortion per se, more like a multi effect.
Good point. It's been ages since I pulled all the Drambo scripts off PatchStorage using your script. Just remembering how the script works will burn an hour of my day. Then I'll have dozens of scripts to load and evaluate... another hour or two and I can call it a day.
UPDATE: It took 30 minutes to download all the scripts and now the fun of sync'ing my iCloud/Drambo folder between my Mac and iPad. If I zip up I think I can import the zip or maybe import the Project and Module folders right into Drambo. Still Digging
OK... Projects and Modules imported and I keep bringing up Drambo instances in AUM and poking through the Projects for sound rigs. I Found a few good ones and had a nice groove going.
That's a day.
On another thread someone mention Drambo needing audio tracks. Is there a race between Drambo and Nanostudio 2 for adding audio tracks? If not can we at least pretend there is so we can place bets on it?
I seem to have broken LK today and need to figure out where the MIDI imported is actually going.
@McD If you do a collage of different creations from Patchstorage, why not upload a "best of" remix?
Audio tracks are not Drambo's focus, so there is no race. It's an AUv3 and you can load it in your DAW of choice.
Is there a batch download script for PatchStorage? If so, can you please share it?
TIA,
Hi was wondering if anyone could help
I want to have a number of loops on one track in drambo and trigger them one a time. Basically an audio clip launcher for my drum loops and perc loops. I have eg pulse though i find it better for hits than loops and feels a bit like a less than perfect option. In zenbeats for example i load my loops into one track across multiple scenes that i can then trigger. Loaded up zenbeats and it crashed within 5 mins so i am sticking with drambo which is solid for me
Would it be possible when i put an instance of drambo inside a drambo track to have say 4 tracks with a flex i sampler in each and i can trigger the loops in those separately? I tried it few mins ago but could only trigger the track i had selected. Is there a way to trigger each of the tracks from the main drambo track?
I hope that makes sense as it gets bit muddled when i try and explain using drambo within drambo lol
Thanks
Or is it possible to put 4 flexi samplers on the one track and assign them to different keys to be triggered?
Thanks
@muzka Yes, try MIDI > Note Filter and MIDI > MIDI to CV into Flexi. You can have multiple Flexis on one track, each triggered by a different note.
Excellent, thank you. While experimenting I had added a mixer, triggered them all at once and was P locking volumes but this sounds a lot better, thanks again
Muzka
Anyone try Sunrizer in Drambo? Mapping controls is not working for me. Works fine in AUM.
Yes, it works for me. Any parameter in particular? Does it work if you select from the list?
Did you turn a knob or move a fader on the Sunrizer UI after enabling "MAP"?
Yup, Map is flashing and I was turning Filter Cutoff. It's worked with probably 20 or so synths before.
I didn't try the list @NoiseFloored, can try that later today. Odd.
It works here but I'm still on iOS 13.7.
14.3 here if it helps in any way
Looks like it's an issue with Sunrizer on iPad Pro 2016 with 13.6. Works fine with Map list that @NoiseFloored mentioned but grabbing controls doesn't. That's good enough for me.
Can anyone explain why the flex sampler always seems like it has a LFO on the volume knob? On each trigger, the volume seems to slowly go up and down and I can’t figure out why.
Does it? Can't reproduce that here.
It's a process I do on my Mac but I'm sure it would work on Windows with the right Unix tools loaded too.
Load the Drambo http://patchstorage.com/platform/drambo file in a Chrome browser.
Initially, it will display about 10 scripts. Scroll to the bottom and it will auto-load another batch. Stop at any point if you have all the older patches or continue until this page displays all 301 scripts.
Now, in Chrome you want to File > Save Page As... with name changed to "drambo.htm" and Format as the default "Web Page, Complete" location
"Downloads".
In a Terminal window I changed to my iCloud/Drambo library which my iPad also reads/writes from:
cd /Users/McD/Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud~com~giku~Drambo/Documents/Projects
Drambo can load script from iCloud and this is where they will be visible later.
In that directory a keep a "drambo.sh" script based upon the instructions @rs2000 provided to me months ago:
I ran this script and 30 minutes later I had all 301 Project and Module scripts downloaded.
I then like to move the *.drproject to a Project subdirectory and *.drmodule to a Module subdirectory and *.zip to Zips.
Then in Drambo I can see them by file type using Open > (iCloud option set) >
Project | Module | Zip folders.
@McD @rs2000 Mind blown! That’s some next-level ninja sh**, I will try to replicate it but need some coffee first... 😀 BTW, what is the total size of the scripts? I only have a rather limited storage on my 1st gen iPad Pro...
Thanks!
I get 122MB using "du -k ."
@McD Scripts downloaded, now I got lots of them to go through...
Yes... you might discover that you need to go back to the script's description page on
PatchStorage to know what it does and how to set it up. But I do love a nice "bash shell script" to raid a web site.
Yes, the batch download is very helpful, especially for such large collection like the Drambo. I’m sure the new release will give us the ability to tag or categorize the projects and the instruments.
BTW I was thinking that patchstorage should provide some API for app developers to integrate the browser in their app so you could conveniently download patches directly from the app, even extra features like be notified when new version of the patch is uploaded etc. How cool would be that?
