Nambu is INCREDIBLE…it’s like a love letter to synthesis
I'm am looking for a synth to practice patch building that shows LFO animations on the animated knob. I prefer simple layout as I am very noonish in patch building. My favorite are Zeeon and Poison 303.
The Fingerlabs synths are amazing for that! Flynth and Mynth both do this. And you can draw in your own LFO wave shapes.
What I like as funny talk is at the end on iOS music, guys list all synth as the post try to narrow the choice of synth. 😂
Not all synth listed here are good for serious sound design. Model D is more towards using Moog library presets and Model 15 is dedicated to serious sound design.
In iOS there are too many choices at low prices so we are spoiled and at the end many drop to a synth and to another because of the hype. It is fun but in the other hand you miss to push up what can do a good synth dedicated to sound design.
But after all we are just like I am on the hobby side.
Very different of desktop where you chose only 1 or 2 synth , as a Logic Pro user I narrow my choice Alchemy (not the very limited Alchemy on GB) as it inside Logic Pro and You can spend years without seeing its limitations.
For me, it’s the iOddiesssysseeiiiiii (unless I need things to be in tune, which is well pretty much never)
I actually really love Model D for patch making. I haven’t used any of the Moog presets though. Aren’t they IAPs? I love sound design so outside of sample packs, I rarely buy presets.
Thank you I downloaded both.

Model D and Nambu if I’m going with just synthesis. I have a boog so it’s model d is what I’m most familiar with and Nambu is a work of art
Nice! Lemme know what you think! PolyWave also does this but it’s a lot more complex.
