I fired him for insubordination
Quite right. He should have used more frequencies below 70Hz.
SDS-X is now free but does have IAP Pricing model. $1 per month, $4.99 per year or $12.99 for lifetime unlock. I highly recommend this app, if leery about lifetime unlock… Why not test it out for a month, only a dollar or for a year only $5 and take it from there. The developers have completely rebuilt this app, put in lots of hard work, and created something pretty Amazing.
You can download the app and use several features without the unlock so give it a go….

Looks rather fun.

Yea it’s kind of random but it looked so cool, I figured people could use it in all kinds of ways with video projects, video posts, or even live gigs.
Agreed and irrelevant information 101, I like looking at fish swimming.
It’s soothing for some reason.
Especially when they swim through each other! 😂
The fish swim through each other?.?
Oh my.
That’s going to be interesting for sure. 😏

Got this one years ago and although I've only used it sparingly, it's a fun app. Would only buy it again if I had enough time to play with it and someone creative who's interested in jamming with you on a small coffee table.
Yea if I lived with someone, or was with someone to jam with on a regular basis I’d probably swing for it.
I always find it cool to control multiple instruments at once so maybe this has value even for a stand alone usage. I'm more concerned about the quality of the internal sound generators that might be dated
That’s true.

Syntronik is $6 off down to $7.99, I think IAPs are discounted as well…

Sample Tank $10 off down to $14.99
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sampletank/id464783893
The full and deluxe versions are 50% off. That makes a huge difference as Syntronik is usually an expensive product (it's worth paying the extra outlay for Deluxe).
What does the Sampletank Expanded get you. Everything? Or not everything?
No, you have to purchase individual IAPs and from what I've seen this morning, the IAPs themselves aren't currently discounted. However, it sometimes takes up to 24hrs for the various app stores to update their prices.
As for which IAPs provides the best value. I'd say it's the Sampletank Pro IAP. This provides over 3Gb of extra samples and circa 500 new patches. If you have the cash the Miroslav Philarmonik 2 IAP is also very useful. Between this and the orchestral samples you get with AudioLayer (also 50% off right now) you'll have a decent amount of orchestral firepower with a good variety of articulations.
It's important to remember that you're getting heavily cut down versions of the equivalent desktop SampleTank products with the iOS IAPs but considering many folk have limited iOS storage, it's a reasonable compromise for mobile workflows.
@jonmoore Thanks
Ref the various IAPs here’s a page on the IK site where you can see exactly what you’re getting for your money.
