Different Drummer has so much potential to be an great app, but has that horrible interface. If it got a UI overhaul it would be amazing.

Simplicity and being able to design with users in mind is very difficult, which is why there are so few really great apps.
There are sometimes great apps hiding under a terrible UI, but there are also some terrible apps hiding under a wonderful looking UI.
I got an alert by app sliced that sample tank iaps are on offer. Sample tank pro all sounds from 69,99 to 36,99 eur and miroslav philarmonic 2 from 36,99 to 13,99 eur however in the app was only the pro on offer. Miroslav 2 was even ore expensive 64,99 eur! Anyone seeing something else?

Agreed. It's a pity and seeing the cost, its hard to see how it holds much of a place in contemporary iPad production. When I saw the sale I was keen to grab it and have it round out my sound palette. Alas no AUv3!

Don't mind me, I'm quietly losing my mind! I kept reading Sampletank 3 as 4 and assumed the IOS version was the same as the current desktop. Makes the deal even less attractive.
I'm currently trying out Octane. Seems like you might get lucky there, at least if you are after more modern sounds. It's currently in beta (and still needs work to be honest), but the sound is very promising so far.
