    so the combination of ToneStack Pro
    and MixBox CS would be very similar
    to Drambo and MiRack for me.

    It would be worth it for the LA-2a
    and the Pultec emulations.

    It’s until 7th December which is
    plenty enough time to consider.

    @dvi Just commiserating. No doubt something similar has happened to many of us. To have an app price reduced further during a sale is pretty unusual. But if you're satisfied with your purchase, that's all that matters.

    For me it’s the same. I bought Mixbox a week ago for 39.90. I could refund because of the EU laws within 14 days. But refunding now to save 10 bucks feels odd. Moreover I took part in IKM‘s 25th anniversary group buy by buying an Uno Synth and downloaded 24 products for free…

    Damn. For £26 I'll bite. I don't really use my iPad much for music these days but MixBox is really good and I got such an unbelievable deal in the IK group buy I'll be quids in whichever way you slice it. In fact if I add the price for MixBox for iPad to the price I paid for my UNO synth, I still come in way under the €199 tier the UNO qualified me for.

    I have same setup, I think I don’t need MixBox CS if I buy Saturn 2 with a discount. It may happen this month or next month. MixBox CS is easy to use but I am not sure it is quite necessary for me.

    I also already have ToneStack Pro, but I really never use it. I’d probably never use this either.

    Since the sale is supposedly until Dec 7th, I’ll hold off another week until Black Friday/cyber Monday, you never know, they might do a one day flash sale for $19.99 or something!

    Either that, or something else will pop up on sale that I’ve just got to have.

    I like to think that it was my dismissive attitude toward IK Multimedia in general and Mixbox in particular that brought on this price drop. I finally caved and bought it — and the next day the price drops another $10!

    It feels like an elevator in an old garment district building that stops at the right floor — and then lurches another 6 inches just as you are about to exit. No harm done, but it definitely leaves you with a slightly queasy feeling.

    Dang.. can anyone tell me how MixBox is on cpu???

    I’m also curious why they used the CS after MixBox when in the past that was used to denote a lite version of an app… like Amplitude CS vs Amplitude for iPad?
