FabFilter bundles back on sale? What was the price on Black Friday?

I think it was $89.99 for big bundle usually $119.99

And I believe it was $44.99 for creative bundle, usually $54.99

I know the first one is correct but not sure about creative bundle since I had an app the price always showed discounted for me. Maybe someone else can confirm it.

You got it right, Pops, @dakti confirms here - https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/1020421#Comment_1020421

    Thanks for confirming.

The Pro Bundle is back at Black Friday Price for sure. Can’t comment on the Creative bundle price as I have it already.

  • FabFilter Creative FX Bundle is now $44.99.
It's been $54.99 and $59.99 in the past.

I use scrivener on desktop for my scripts and other bigger writing projects, but grabbed this as it’s supposed to be better than the official version, and is much better maintained from the look of the update logs…

I think on mobile devices it’s been said that the official version is a bit unloved by the devs, on laptop, yeah, there’s almost nothing to compare it to, final draft maybe, but that’s only for scripts…

From what I remember the official client had to be synced through dropbox, which a lot of people didn't like. According to the description Scrivo syncs through icloud as well.

Yeah, I’ve just used a text editor previously, it’s fairly easy to navigate the folder structure, I’ll see how this one works, nice interface so far…

I was just about to point that out myself. Scrivener BTW is the bee's knees for long-form writing.

It seems to work ok in that context so far, though I’m not sure if it’s got the same level of support for screenplay formatting, I’ll have to run a proper test with a fake project later I think…

I believe what @NeuM was highlighting was that Kairoos Solutions SL (the app developer) are pretty unscrupulous in the manner that they mimic existing products down to using similar product names and even the logos they use for app icons are very close to a trademark infringement.

They publish the app equivalent of a dodgy Chinese 'Roldex' watch. They infringe the copywrite of someone else's work to the extent that they attempt to fool you into thinking you're getting the real deal, when in fact it's a cheap imitation.

Yeah definitely seems a bit off, but even though I love the desktop version, I’ve never heard people speak well of the mobile version, no updates for years and folks complain that it’s not working as well as it should… not sure about this one yet though, might be a very rare refundee…

I've used Scrivener since it was first released on the macOS and have since purchased it for Windows and iOS and haven't had any problems. Scrivener on iOS was a little buggy at launch but it's been stable for years. It's annoying that it's Dropbox only but the developer created Scrivener iOS using specific Dropbox API's that work well with the historic Bundle file format that was integral in OS X and that's still supported in macOS.

The majority of negative comments you see on the App Store for Scrivener are from customers that are upset that they can't use iCloud.

These days I tend to use Ulysses more on iOS anyway (certainly for drafting). The main reason I keep Scrivener on my iOS devices is for light edits and suchlike. I far prefer the Scrivener UX on the desktop when using large format monitors (a larger laptop screen is workable too). On iOS, even with the 12.9in iPad Pro things still feel a little cramped as the main reason I use Scrivener is to have two pages open at once. One page is generally research notes or a previous page from the document for context, whilst the second is the pages I'm working on.

Nice one for that, interesting breakdown, I'd only be using it for little edits too, though I might get deeper with it if I'm drafting screenplay stuff; I'll look deeper into Scriv Legit's support of that... thanks :)
