Does anyone know off hand if effectrix has patterns, so you can set up many patterns of sequenced Fx, and what the maximum length of an effect sequence can be, ie. Is it 32 bars?
I recommend unlock IAPs to Aparillo and to Factory, great sounds.
Is beat hawk worth it?. I mainly use Drambo for drums, also own DigiStix, AudioLayer, etc.
Does Beathawk do multiple layers as in velocity layers for drums?. I’ve heard great things but never tried it.
BeatHawk's IAP sample sets are often velocity layered instruments. But you can't create your own velocity-layered instruments. It is a fairly lightweight instrument and a good variety of sample sets is available. The sequencer is handy to me for sketching things out, too. There are some decent videos on YouTube that should be able to give you an idea of whether you would like it.
Thanks!.
Nanostudio 2 is 1/2 off at $9.99

An Effectrix patch can store up to 12 grids, and these can be MIDI triggered.
The maximum grid length is 32 beats, though these can be 1/4, 1/4T, 1/8, 1/8T, 1/16 and 1/32 beats per grid cell.
Grid length can be from 1 to 32 grid cells, but all effect lanes share this setting, so no polyrhythms.
Awesome thank you for that, exact info I was looking for. Cheers.
Meta Brush is Free usually $4.99 Full IAP is Free too. You can paint and use photos.

Maybe more 4pockets app are discounted not sure but these are ones listed so far
Do you prefer one over the other?
Where do I find the IAP? (I hate how so many apps make this hard.
Can’t find either
Never look so hard, can’t find anything to unlock. Have you managed to find iap @johnfromberkeley ?
Sometimes there are non available any longer.
If there was previously an IN-App that got removed or is now fully integrated it still is listed as „In-App“ for „0,00“ if the app stays the same. So it is even possible that we do not have some.
I could find any either in this one so i assume the options got fully integrated into the app.
Cool, app- cant detect that anything is actually locked, despite the app store indicating the IAP.
While this is not directly music related (well it could be for graphic illustrations) I think Free is hard to beat?

(I've grown to really like this one. Free for iPad/iPhone & Mac, no need to sign up for anything and turn off analytics in the preferences in case you don't wan't to provide usage information, crash logs etc.).
The online Unsplash and Iconator have free account options in case that's interesting...
I think you can try them out but Factory has a more traditional interface. Aparillo's is, um, different.
The IAPs are also on sale. Highly recommend getting these as they are great value for money.
Dmitrij Pavlov apps are on sale. 50% off
Aparillo appears to be better suited for sound design and scoring -- cinematic soundscape type stuff, if that helps.
But, yeah, this is one of those rare instances where you can demo the apps. So, that's what I'd suggest, too.
And also Kymatica AB apps are on sale. I would go to auv3 effects - Space and Dub
Thanks @ashh and @telecharge.
Aparillo is less predictable and has some super interesting presets. Not sure how to control it yet but that should come.
I do like the morph control on Factory but it tends to sound more like some of the other Sugarbyte apps that I already own.
I haven't had a chance to demo it yet, but I have read some reviews for the desktop app. I presume it's the same on iOS. Here are some interesting bits that should add some variety, if you haven't tried them already:
"The mod matrix can be randomised in two ways. Clicking the die button at the end of the source or target row/column randomises the contents of the slots in that row/column, while dragging on the larger die icon, top right, progressively adds more randomised modulation depth dots to the matrix the higher it's raised."
I also read a post on another forum that said clicking the "o" in Factory will randomize everything. You should be able to automate the morph control, as well.
MusicRadar summarized their review by saying, "While we wouldn't recommend it as the first choice for anyone seeking a general purpose workhorse synth to cover all the basics, for enormous, weird, heavily modulated and rhythmic sounds of all kinds, it's a winner, with a character all its own."
snaffled thos kymatica auv3 effects, umming and arring about Pure Acid and FRMS (i love DRC but i worry that FRMS will be too resource hungry)
hope more sales happen for easter!
oooh nice. Pure Acid should be worth it.
Is $7.99 50% off it’s usual price? Just wanted to be sure before purchasing.
Mela 2 is on sale. What is so specific with this synth? I heard lots of recommendations

Yes, it is.
BTW, App Sliced is a popular website for keeping up with price changes,

Very cool! Thanks for this; I’m a noob with iOS music/beat making
