Cool, app- cant detect that anything is actually locked, despite the app store indicating the IAP.

Never look so hard, can’t find anything to unlock. Have you managed to find iap @johnfromberkeley ?

I couldn’t find it either, I think everything is just unlocked, which makes me Leary they might lock it up at some point but who knows...

  • If you upload videos to YouTube this could be useful.

Fame - YT thumbnail maker is Free usually $.99

    Spam maker

  • Wouldn’t you know it... the day after I buy the Poison synth it goes on sale. LOL.

  • edited April 2021

Not a sale but worth mentioning here because it is 1/5 the price of Hammond B3x and sounds great...

  • The best thing about this thread is that it reminds me which apps/IAP I’ve already bought. Just spent fifteen minutes trying to buy the Factory IAP. I suppose the buy/restore screen doesn’t show if the IAP is already activated. 😂

    😂😂😂

  • Here is another useful site to check sales.. https://discchord.com/sales

    Get Sector, everyone.

By the way, it’s helpful to see screenshots like this, the links are so much better. I know it just means going to the App Store and searching yourself, but I also have a tuned AppSliced search that I can visit if I want.

That said, I do appreciate your kind effort.

  • If music apps aren't taking up enough of your time and a pixel art farming RPG sounds interesting to you, Stardew Valley is down to $3.99 USD - https://apps.apple.com/app/id1406710800

I know, while I would prefer to put the links as well, you can chalk it up to laziness/the amount of time it would take, Quite honestly I didn’t feel like copying and pasting a dozen links. So I figured people can see the sale then just search the name of it on the App store.

    Cheers, forgot about that one.

Besides appsliced my favorite one is AppAgg, between those 2 you rarely miss a sale. It’s weird because sometimes one of the sites will catch an app on sale that the other one doesn’t vice a versa. Between the two you’ll get the vast majority of sales

    https://appagg.com/sale/ios/?hl=en

There’s also Cheap Charts which is pretty good, above average, can also do music, movies, anything on the App Store.

    https://www.cheapcharts.info/us/itunes/apps/on-sale

Synthyfrog is good too. Lists updates as well as sales.

    https://synthyfrog.com/

There used to be a great one, called Appshopper it’s still out there, but i noticed years ago it started to miss a lot of sales, maybe not getting updates or something, not sure, but I stopped using it for that reason. It Still catches some sales, but definitely not nearly as good of as appsliced or AppAgg. IMHO those two are the best.

  • I’ve been eyeing GR-16 for a while since it addresses what has become my only struggle with drambo, namely that it quickly turns into more scrolling than playing. I’ve been looking at the threads and can’t find anything that’s a true dealbreaker, which is impressive for a 4-year old app. I’d like it to have direct sample-to-pads but I have koala for that. Any thoughts?

  • For the new folks interested in synths (and anyone else who could use a refresher) the FREE AudioKit Synth One Synthesize‪r just got an update which includes a manual and Synth Tutorial iBook with companion presets.

THANKS! FREE Learning Synthesis & Synth One manual in this update!

    • Full Free Synth Tutorial iBook by award-winning sound designer Francis Preve
    • Preset bank called "Synth Tutorials" are a companion to that book
    • We are all volunteer musicians & coders. Thanks for your help!
    • Download is in the "About" page. Or you can find it on the Books app and iTunes: http://books.apple.com/us/book/id1544368523

All AudioKit Pro apps on sale, too!

I use it as one of my main drum machines as I really like the built in samples. It was worth it for this alone.

Ok as I wrestled with both of these I did this...

Aparillo is frankly ridiculous. You have to click on the logo here:

I have been tempted by slow machine, so 7.99 is the 50% price? I've kinda run out of reserves but would like to try this.

I think that’s the regular price isn’t it? Maybe it is only the Groovebox IAPs on sale?

I vaguely knew but never investigated. There looks to be six preset packs. I think I’ll grab the ones from Red Sky Lullaby and Sound of Izrael.

I like Poison but I never use it as it seems too wieldy, but I think it sounds great. If the drums are as good, then I think I have my weekend made! Thank you, @gregsmith!

Owning all of the preset packs now, I have to say that you should not miss the Lily Jordy pack. I like those other designers but she nailed this set!
