  • @Poppadocrock I hope you continue posting what you post, including the non-music apps ones, whether here in this thread or elsewhere, because I very much appreciate it myself! Thank you for all you do!

  • @Poppadocrock keep the good work, you’re doing nicely. If anyone doesn’t like the non music apps just should scroll to the next post.

  • You broke the rooz rooz rooz....

Seriously though, sales do expire and the off topic comments keep bumping the thread to the top, so keep breaking the rooz.

  • Since we cannot go to public places and chat, this is the right thread to do so

Not a sale but just noticed a new bundle BLEASS MIX ESSENTIALS Bundle. $19.99

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/mix-essentials/id1553091822

I have several of the apps in the bundle but even with scroll down trick, I can’t get price to adjust... if anyone does get this bundle price to change please post it here. Cause it should be discounted based off what you paid for the apps included in the bundle.

  • Another bundle by Caelum Audio both their compressors Smoov & Schlap $4.99 for both $2.99 each.

Got this bundle and I’m very happy about it. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy BLEASS apps. They’re terrifically intuitive to use and a major time saver.

  • Not music but a useful utility, especially for sharing info in this forum, Cite Lighter is Free. Usually $2.99. It lets you highlight text on an image, even blur the background. So you can take a screen shot highlight the info you are talking about and blur any nonessential or personal info.

Hmm. That looks useful. At least it helps avoid getting involved in the other more complicated aspects of Photoshop or other image editing tools to accomplish a single purpose.

I love Bleass apps, and use them a lot, I have like 6 or so, they all sound great, work great, have great gui’s, easy to use and understand, there’s always an lfo, with a visual. And a decent price point. I’m a big Bleass fan.

Some developers (such as Eventide) don’t have adjusted prices for bundles which make sense, like this one from BLEASS. If you purchase an Eventide bundle which happens to overlap another bundle, the pricing for the second bundle treats your next purchase as if you don’t already own the overlapping app and stays high. Customers would be better served if they would not offer bundles with overlapping apps.

Ok I’m in the same boat actually I don’t have compressor or motion EQ. Thanks for the post it probably just took a little time to get sorted in the store.

  • Not Music...

Photo Tangler - Collage Maker is FREE usually $2.99, not just regular collages, different blending options too...

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phototangler-collage-maker/id422301314

  • My Bleass bundle is still not adjusted, no worries though, I’ll keep trying. Sales, bundles, etc, can sometimes take time to populate across the world, and work correctly.

Ahhh, I do believe I completed a Bleass bundle awhile ago, that’s not available any more. That explains it.

  • Am I wrong in thinking Schlap would be useful in packing a high gain type guitar sound into a tight, dense package?

  • @LinearLineman said:

    1. The hardware is terrific, capable and relatively inexpensive compared to the $1000 TEAC 4 track reel to reel I had in 1980 ...

The centrepiece of my first set-up back around then was an old 1959 Ferrograph - a huge ex-BBC valve reel to reel behemoth - built like a Sherman tank - three speed playback - superb sound quality ... ostensibly portable - back when 50 pounds was portable. Torn from the TARDIS.

    https://museumofmagneticsoundrecording.org/images/R2R/Ferrograph4A07.jpg

They just don't make knobs like that anymore.

I really miss it ... particularly miss the smell of those glowing valves and hot bakelite in my music. I'd spend hours splicing stuff together that my ipad manages with a silent, odour-free click. Had to be love, eh?

Someone should do an app to generate valve smells.

I have been trying to get my patent for "Smell-o-vision" approved for years but have been
tied up in the courts my Microsoft's "Up Your Nose" tech. Apple has decided to bury it's
nacent "iSmell" trials over Brand issues they refuse to acknowledge.

But Valve smells are not currently being considered by any of these Lab trials.

    Top of the list?

    Farts... to punctuate toilet humor.

I kid you not. There is some Open Source work progressing for "Stink-a-round" but no popular platforms like Linux Phones.

There's a GoFundMe project for the "Whoopee Phone".

Just saw this for the first time ever. This is the first time I ever noticed it, anyway... I guess someone or several someones at App sliced wrote some code to generate probabilities on app sales ending based on past sales timelines. Interesting. Should be useful to all who use the site, you do have to click on an app from the list to see the app page, which is where I noticed it. Just to clarify I’m talking about the expected price change at the top of the picture.
