Instant Giant Steps—thank you!
Yea that’s a good free one for sure, hasn’t been updated in a couple years but the midi should be fine. I got this app free like 4 years ago but never dug into it. It seems really cool though.
I bought it when it went on sale and I’m a huge fan.
Apologies for the digression, but I never miss an opportunity to turn somebody onto "Giant Steps."

Yes! This series is excellent. This app makes it very easy to play those sequences of third-related chords because the blocks can be arranged as descending major thirds (B - G - Eb), sideways as minor thirds (B-D-F) and diagonally as fifths, so with the same shape you can play each series of third related V-Is (as explained in the video) like it's nobody's business.
Agreed, Vox is pretty cool in general, but the Earworm series is really cool.
Good to know @dvi i used it as a controller a few times but it’s been awhile since I opened this app. This is gonna make me revisit it.
This might be one for @McD
Thanks for turning me
Dang it. Short sale missed.
From 18Nov2020 (around 140 days till now) KORG ELECTRIBE Wave is still 50% off. Did Korg forgot to rise up the price after sale or it is the new base price?
There was no such a long discount on Korg app before.
I believe this is the old “GOING OUT OF BUSINESS” sign trick some retailers use. I’ve seen some businesses “going out of business” for more than five years.

Quite the opposite. Korg is too busy upgrading their app fleet to AUv3 and had no time for something so trivial as updating the sale price.
When are the SWAM strings going live? Has to be fairly soon right? DT version is out.
I need to get my wallet prepared haha.
Can hold firm on evrything except temptation ... a heady mix of nostalgia and a discount and I "lashed out" on OB-XD.
Is it just me or does the GUI on this little gadget not work as an AUM au3 on a 9.7 inch ipad? Did I miss something? Thing seems fixed at 12.9 display.
Works fine on my 12.9 but just refuses to fit on my smaller screen - not sizable ... effectively unusable because I can't get to the presets!
It's still a nice sounding synth and nowhere near as eccentric and cantankerous as the original.
Haven't seen this mentioned on the forum so I suspect you're all using big ipads then 😁
Of course I was joking, but managing one’s offerings on the App Store isn’t an afterthought. They should curate their presence better.
@Soundscaper you should be able to scroll down to the presets.
I went for Cyclop, dunno if I’d get much use out of Egoist.. Too many groove boxes already
You just need to scroll . It works fine on on my 9.7 inch iPad 6
I will say that the scrolling is super unintuitive and a bit of a pain, even on my iPad Air 3. There's no scroll bar and I seem to have to move my finger along the 'wood cheeks' of the UI in blind faith that it'll scroll. It usually works, but it's still a rotten design IMHO.
It isn't great design but it also is not "effectively unusable" and it sounds very good.
Won't scroll on mine ... could be the layers of grime on the screen ... but it actually takes a few minutes of desperate frantic poking to get to the preset window. It's still half-finished. But is does sound good and I will use it on the 12.9 ... she's feeling neglected lately.
Strange. I only have a 9.7 inch and have no trouble. Are you using the scroll area on the right edge? The wooden rail on the right scrolls the interface if you tap and drag up or down.
I've been tapping and sliding everywhere to some unreliable success ... is this scaling screen size for AUvs a particularly difficult bit of coding wizardry?
Also I just updated to iOS 14. 4.2 this morning so anything is possible. Fingers crossed.
Same here. use the wooden edges.
