I'm already seeing Mixbox and Amplitube 5 for €199 when I log in.
It's just occurred to me that could be as I have iLoud monitors already. From what I've read, when you register the Uno Synth you get the same promo prices which should be included with the €199 tier. Looks promising. Will find out for sure this evening... Delivery promised by 10pm, :-)
Excellent! Is SampleTron 2 reduced as well then, or just those two? I just had a thought that most/all of these will need to be run in compatibility mode on an M1 Mac, hopefully that is not going to cause issues...
@klownshed You are correct that those products will be 199 and you’ll have access to them as free products because of the uno synth. It’s up to 22 free now, so your needs should be covered for quite a while!
Yes SampleTron 2 is also 199, here go nutz :
If the EUR199 tier opens up for you with a purchase, you will indeed get access to all the EUR199 crossgrades for free, including the two MODO apps, Mixbox etc.
Thanks @FloRi89 !
That will be sweet.
No issues so far on M1 mini with SampleTank, Syntronik, Amplitude. I think Modi drums is M1 native but the others seem to run ok with Live in Rosetta.
Great, that is good news. I realise I should probably have checked this before jumping in
Soooooo…. If I will purchase Uno Synth and sell it Could I left for me all the software????
Arg, I’m getting tempted now, wish the UNO had CV outs though, I fancy something that would integrate with my neutron and trog stuff but don’t fancy the high price of the pro…
I thought I was immune to this deal but seeing the price of the UNO synth made it a no-brainer for me and the possibility of unlocking the 299 tier products makes it even better.
Yeah, I’m even considering the drum machine as it’ll take me into the orchestral one as well I think…actually no, hmm, that rules that out 🎉
I just logged into my IK account and mix box and > @MAtrixplan said:
From the FAQ:
"Note that qualifying products must remain registered in your IK account to retain eligibility."
So it appears that if you transfer the license, you lose the free stuff.
So should I but luckily was ok 😊
For info the latest Ableton beta is M1 native so shouldn’t be too long, although it flies under Rosetta on M1 anyway.
My Uno Synth has arrived. Same day delivery is amazing considering none of the garages around us can even get any petrol!
I can confirm it all works great with the Uno Synth; €199 tier unlocked and Mixbox is available as a cross grade, and has already been downloaded and authorised :-) I just have another 20 odd choices to make now.
I also just got a free Uno Synth Travel bag via the promotion page so very happy I had earlier reservations about the deal and procrastinating has properly paid off for me, for once! :-D
Pleased to hear this, I look forward to receiving mine tomorrow. Nice bonus getting the bag as well!
This thing about IK adding hardware is a little frustrating. I was liking the Uno before this 25th sale. I would have gladly started at a higher tier. I guess they saved a piece of hardware. I’m not disappointed with what I’m getting, but dang...
Bit stumped as to what to grab for my next IK freebie. Does anyone rate any of the X-Series software pedals? I guess it’s nice to have a decent reverb or delay in the Amplitube chain (rather than only post or pre). Looked at the Leslie anp but not sure if I’d get much use out of it. There’s also the T-Racks Space Echo but I feel I’m covered with delay plugins. It’s all a bonus at this point but still keen to extract as much value as I can
My IK deal just got a whole lot better.
I had licenses for Amplitube SVX and another for T-Racks ONE that I'd never used (one of them came free with a magazine!).
I now have extra €99 tier free downloads for BOTH of them! I had no idea they'd come with free slots, so I'm very happy with this deal today :-D
I'm going to need a bigger boat hard drive.
Wow, I hope you have bought a lottery ticket this week I think I'm going to have to archive some of my loot rather than install it immediately. Still trying to plan what to grab and whether to buy in again at a lower price considering the deal on the hardware was so good.
Don't forget your jam points... you'll have an extra €10 for buying UNO synth to go towards another buy-in.
Got the synth and started choosing apps. I was surprised to see Syntronik Deluxe as an option so I picked it up even though I was not going to, and also that TrackS Deluxe was not an option - did you see the same? Alas, I did not get the free bag offer
Looking at getting some more hardware to unlock at 99.99. Does anyone know if I am correct to assume that buying and registering another bit of kit at this level will open up another lot of cross-grade eligible slots, i.e. up to the 199 tier (or is it again 299, very confusing)?
Based on looking at my account, it seems to me that all you need is a single purchase of 99 or more and that opens up all the crossgrades. Buying more stuff won't result in more crossgrades. But note that I'm making a not so educated guess here as it is not very clear indeed.
They don't make it easy! I mainly want to be sure that adding a second bit of hardware will result in a new set of free slots opening up. I would be using them to fill out the lower priced items so even if the new tier is 99 max it would not be such a problem.
When I added another product, I got another full set of slots:
When you use one of the slots, it disappears from that row. In other words, in the promotions page there is an "Available" button for each additional free product, up to the max of 24. That opens a page with one slot per qualifying product. When you use one of them, that menu will then disappear next time you go back. So for example if i go the first row and choose something from the ‘UNO’ menu the next time I go back to row 1 there will be the two remaining free slots for the other products. You have to go the next row for the next UNO freebie. I hope that makes sense.
As you can see I now have three popups allowing me to choose 3 x (up to) 24 free products.
So yeah, buy an additional qualifying product to unlock, say, the €99 tier and you'll double the amount of free products you can get.
Innit. It's like Beatly Pro but not as good.
One thing I've just discovered after selling some IK geat they charge £20 for a licence transfer token. Which is some buuullshiit.
There’s a lot of flies in the IK ointment ref their treatment of customers, but even more irritating is their abilility to prise money from my tight fisted grasp. If only they could stop making plugins the scratch my musical itch, my life would have one less hastle to think about!
Actually most developers do that.
