Here's a little roundup of some free pianos/keys:

The Foundation: Keys pack features 25 multi-sampled instrument racks designed for contemporary music, from clean upright and grand pianos to heavily processed dance and lo-if keys. You can get a free Lo-Fi Plugin from Arturia till the end of the year:

Free Hornet Valvola tube type thing plug in for a couple of days — if you jump through a social media hoop or two (as long as you click to share you don’t actually have to share but it would probably be a bit rude not to )

Nice. It’s a Mellotron style tape sim.
It’s also M1 native.
Waves have a new sale. Honestly. I know you will find that hard to believe as it’s been nearly days since the last one, but your long wait is over and you can save again. Phew.
So. For the first time since Black Friday Cyber Monday Black Friday returns for a limited time only they now have an end of year sale.
Hurry, Hurry, Hurry! There won’t be another sale until at least New Year’s Day.
Arturia Pigments 3.5 @ 50% off is a great offer for those that don’t have it - works out at €69. There's another offer inclusive of a preset pack for €99 but Pigments has such a rich array of synthesis options on offer (and a shed load of presets already) the €69 offer will keep you going till the next set of offers comes along at Easter.

Nice deal right here for the SSL drumstrip plug-in
If you already own something by Arturia it might even be cheaper. I got the offer for 49€
I have V collection and a couple of other bits and bobs (including some free stuff). My upgrade price is €69.
I’ll think about pigments in about a year :-) i do like a lot of the pigments stuff you get in analog lab.
Ok strange, I don’t quite get Arturias pricing.
Me neither!
A lot of people we’re saying that they got the fx collection Crossgrade for €69 during the BF sales even though they’d just purchased V-collection but my price was still €99.
I’d probably have bought it for €69.
V-collection is really good. Especially the newer ones. The vocoder is properly good. I’m Looking forward to over-using it.
JRR Shop all drum kits are free today only.

I was treated like Florian. Just over BF, I was offered and bought Pigments for 49, and was offered the FX collection for 69 but let that one go.

Plugin Alliance have a number of discounted products and you can use voucher code MEGA-SALE-20OFF with no minimum spend to potentially bag a freebie. I used it to grab bx_oberhausen for just under £19, for example.

I know I'm late but I love that package. It's basically a huge collection of synth sounds sampled from many, many 70s/80s/90s synths with a few most commonly used performance controls (like ADSR, Filter, LFO, Modwheel destinations) and all programs sorted by category.
Programs usually have the name of the original synth encoded in the file name as well so if you're looking for all available Roland D50 or Moog Modular patches, you'd do a search by "RD5" or "MMD" and step through the list of search results program by program.
It's a bit like Arturia Analog Lab but the UVI programs load much faster on the same machine here.
Thanks so much for the feedback. Appreciated.
UVI Vintage Vault 4 is on introductory offer at 399 dollars/euros or £349.22 until Feb 21st:
https://www.uvi.net/en/vintage-synth/378-vintage-vault-4.html
Fortunately you can install individual groups of synths rather than having to install the whole 281GB upfront.
I would be interested to know whether there is an upgrade price offered for those with Vintage Vault 3?
If you are entitled to an upgrade then UVI will email you (probably already have, in fact) with your individual offer. The feeling out there is that the discounted prices are not very generous unfortunately.
Mine is $299 - way more than I am willing to pay for it. But each to their own.
This is from UVI

Thanks, that is more that I thought it might be. Presumably though you can jump in a few releases down the line once more has been added and the upgrade price becomes more attractive.
Note that the Samples From Mars “everything bundle” that’s been on sale at $49 since Black Friday (?) is going back to full price ($2,067, apparently) in a couple of days. Does anybody know when it usually goes on sale next?
Edit- wrong thread.
There's a new Desktop sales list thread for 2024 - this one is 3 years old...
https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/59051/2024-desktop-plugin-samples-deals/p1
@thesoundtestroom (or another mod) - can you maybe lock these old annual threads?
@enkaytee
Thanks, I wasn't paying attention.
