I dont mind if the rest of the world has fun with linear stuff.
But it drives me up the wall if they are trying to tell me that smpte is the thing to use because they cant get the simple midi clock sync right.
And that they cant see that there a lots of users out there that just want a tight clock sync and no songpostion stuff, because they do not understand that u can use it in another way.
What i dont want to see is the next hot shit with iaa and without audiobus because then it will be useless 2 me
I guess this is very on topic,
with much love and social niceties,

Hi, I am not a developer but I saw Midibus which claims for stable MIDI clock.I don't know if it's good for syncing but has anyone tried the MidiBus Library?
@Korakios SECTOR uses the MidiBus library, but with its own clock sending mechanism that is sample-synchronized with the sequencer. (The built in clock in MidiBus can only be started/stopped and not actually synchronized with anything).
@Korakios - me - midiSequencer has midiBus library now and I'm impressed with it. It doesn't have MTC, only midi clock, but I'm hoping it will soon.
A shout out from me for the Midibus app. It's not a perfect solution but it's working better than anything else I've tried (using a variety of drum and sequencer apps as master output clocks). I certainly hope app developers pick up on the library and start making MIDI interaction between apps as much of a no brainer as Audiobus does on the analog sound side.
