  • BTW, the just released update of LRC5 will allow it to self resonate. Well, it always could self resonate, but a bug that was lurking in there made it very hard to set it to the right location without blowing up the AU. I fixed the bug, so this works better now.

    Not that I really recommend doing this (especially without a limiter on the output), but ... you can set the Q of the high-shelf to max and then pull its gain to -24dB. This causes the resonant peak to max. You can then set the Q's of the peaking filters all the way up and position them where you want. You can then sweep the four bands together to do some heavy self-resonating nonsense.

    One thing that this has got me thinking about would be to use some hacked multi-bus routing with mix busses in AUM to cause feedback loops. If you stuck some effects/delays in the loops, it could get interesting. Anyone try this? Is there a way to set this up that would work? You could get some interesting control just by using the sliders in AUM.

    You can definitely do those feedback loops in aum using buss sends etc

    I’ve done this many times in AUM. Putting a pitch shifter and/or a granulator in a delay’s FB loop is the most common one. I look at expensive guitar pedals for patch ideas.
