Wow. I highly recommend this app. You can obviously try the free version first to see it’s amazing capabilities.
It is still regular price in US App Store, well as of this post, $26.99.
Sometimes it take hours for sales to populate around the world though so, we shall see
Still full price here in the UK.
Once it drops I think I'll buy it.
Same here in Austria, is Japan ahead in the timezone
. Also thanks future man (or woman)
Precisely. This has got to be one of the best cases, in fiction or non-fiction, of using time travel to offer people future information.
The 'make kit' function is amazing. Especially it fits the kind of no-factory-preset-but-lacks-dilligence-and-talent-hypocrite like me.
I got this and had the very highest hopes and actually do enjoy it. But for some reason, the sounds don’t really thwack or thump. Great for synths sounds, robot sounds, etc
For years I had — but avoided using — Ruismaker. Now it is one of my go tos
I didn't jumped yet, but the sequencer's features looks amazing
And you all gonna be rich.
Future info.
It's Beijing time actually. And Tokyo and Sydney are way ahead of us. Could people in these two places tell me which lottery to buy tonight?
In Vietnam (ahead of ya’ll) IAP is about $20 now 😎.
So this I like what, $7 off?
Well, it is powerful but not a precision tool.
To me, it's a much much cheaper alternative to those drum machines from elektron.
Got this mapped to a faderfox but havent really used. Still buying gear. 7 rows of macros or maybe just any parameter. Thought not being able to record via pad were lame but it will just mean I program a better beat. Sequencer is pretty cool. Might not even use faderfox as tweaking via screen is also cool.
Maybe just stick FAC Bandit on it? That'll fatten anything
Jeepers, can’t get DC to thwack? I usually have the opposite problem!
With my amazing math skills I calculate that it will reset at 00:00 of your local time, or 01:00 if you are in summertime currently like Austria
So the macros are like sending a resonator or any parameter to a sequencer parameter of pitch, decay etc. The amount of pitch, decay plus the paratemeter chosen is set by how much you add to the sequencer. Then the macro knobs send a global amount to sequencer ( I think ) This should be ideal enough for midi control but the macros are on screen. Then trigger patterns with another sequencer, when track is made. The macros then assist with adding a live element to a track worked on. Theres also different track length, savable to every pattern. Only tested a few times.
You can practice your beat on pads, then kind of see where you would add on sequencer. So not always relying on sequencer. Usually best to start a beat.
Yeah, I've certainly never had any issues.
Nice, hadn’t thought of this. Kind of a duh moment but thanks for getting me there.
Not being able to tap out a beat is a rather big omission.
I think its like parameter locks whilst still being able to add more because the sequencer wouldnt have any amount on some steps.
Totally, I’ve been separating the three synths, well2 synths and the sampler, to hear each individually before combining them. Pitching kits to song key. Also loading samples into the sampler to make kits. Really dope. Some parameters, like other SB apps, can be a little tricky for sausage fingers, even on an iPad, but it’s just such a dope app. After five minutes of playing with the free version I knew I had to get it. I waited with fingers crossed for a sale, and finally on New Year’s Day it went down a couple dollars. Boom snatched it up.
Yep but then there’s DC roulette. You get something good and then think one more “make kit” might get something even better! Sure, you can save it but you think “nah, it always comes through!” 🙂
I have. Its kicks are totally anemic to me. I personally don't like it, and I was really looking forward to it. It maxes out the CPU and has a really particular sound that I don't love. BUT I can see that people do! Listen to the demos. If you don't LOVE them, then don't get DC. And it is nothing like an Elektron box, for the record.
Wish Drambo to be on sale soon.

I know.
DrumCom is more like a synth and doesn't have features like p-lock or sample pool.
But I'm not a musician. So basically all drum machines look similar to me.

Lol, the randomization is top notch.
And Indeed it consumes much computing power and gets some glitchy voice sometime on the old ipad model.
