There were 0 presets!. Come on now!!. What’s wrong with us?.
I the iPad frier, the procrastinator, I am the first one?.
Head here right now and start posting some sounds, you lazy bums.

Patchstorage Team has approved the new Tonestack platform recently.
    I'm glad it worked :)

I just don't know why it is still listed in the "Platform request" tab, the same as approved Moog Model D.

Edit: Tonestack Pro and Mood Model D were finally moved from platform request tab.

Yup I pretty much have to grab the pot of gold, even though I have a feeling it will drop to $9.99 around Black Friday, and that’s a complete guess. Right now it’s at $14.99 for the pot of gold, that’s a pretty good deal for what’s included.

Have to agree, that was roughly the same price I paid for it when it was on sale but the base app was $2.99 or something like that. Totally worth it and fully universal too!

Quick question, does the pot of gold take up any additional storage? If so do you have a ball park amount? On my device TS Pro is taking up 291.9 mb without IAP.

  • I was on the fence at $17.99, but not at $14.99. Now if somebody would just tell me which of the 856 effects are indispensible....

Sweet, missed the last sale. This time is even better discount.

With the bundle I have 306,3MB

  • How do I access the Pot of Gold?

  • Scrub that, found it!

Thank yo so much. I want the PO’G but was hoping it didn’t double the app in size or something. A 15mb difference is actually pretty dam sweet considering all the additional pieces you unlock. Thanks.

  • Has anyone figured out how to midi control ToneStack Pro?

Nothing is revealed in AUM and when I look in Settings I see that you can manually implement midi control BUT it actually looks busted. Like nothing I do makes it midi controlled. Any insight?

  • Honestly even at the current sale price, where my finger was hovering over the buy button for the pot of gold I think I'm close to being done with ToneStack. I had the Motherload in the original ToneStack and definitely enjoyed the ride and advocacy for it over anything PositiveGrid!

However I've been really enjoying my trip into Nembrini amps sims with IR via Thafknar and the auditory difference was really apparent, even to my failing ears, with the original ToneStack. At this point it might not even be $15 well spent to get the pot of gold IAP. Perhaps I'm even done buying apps for a long while.

Arghh. Nope I can’t find any way to edit any MIDI parameters in AUM.

The only parameters available to edit by MIDI control are Bypass/ Preset Load/ Show Plugin. These are AUM, default built-in AUM controls for any plugin… so apparently Yonac has done NOTHING to implement proper AUv3 MIDI. Pretty frustrating, especially with Yonac not having a great track record of recognizing and addressing MIDI issues in the past.

It looks like MIDI Learn does work for ToneStack Pro stand-alone. But the AUv3 does not appear as a MIDI destination, so you cannot send MIDI to it. And for sure, it doesn't expose any AUv3 controls. So it's basically a closed box.

Yep, can’t really call it AUv3 if only part of the app functions in AUv3 mode. Even the bare minimum of loading presets via MIDI would be acceptable but we can’t even do that from what I can tell

Turn on MIDI learn in ToneStack Pro AUV3 settings then the controls can be mapped 😎

I totally ear you and I'm on the same boat. I've picked up the core app, I'll use it as an "AUv3 tuner" 😎... but won't go for the POG.

If it worked, yes that would be the easy and expected solution…

But either it doesn’t work, or I’m too dense to figure it out. @Stuntman_mike are you saying that you can load an instance of TSPro in AUM, turn on MIDI learn and then map the controls? Not working for me.

  • For those who don’t already have it, Mixbox has been on sale since September 1st for $47.99, down from $79.99.

Did you turn MIDI Learn on in the ToneStack AU settings?

It is set up oddly, and you can select virtual midi ports, but it isnt set up as a music effect AU and so you cant use AUM's MIDI routing. Which is a bummer. You can probably trick it by routing your desired MIDI from. AUM to Audiobus and onto Tonestack.

I apologize for posting before actually testing. Even though the AU has MIDI learn stuff in it, it doesn't seem to work. It doesn't see virtual midi sources.

I was able to get it to work in standalone...but it doesnt show available input sources. It did see MIDI I sent to its virtual midi input though.

This looks like it needs fixing.

  • @espiegel123 thanks for confirming. I’m familiar with how Yonac does MIDI learn. It just doesn’t work in the AUv3, at least not in AUM.

It looks like the developer overlooked routing midi into the AU…also in the standalone, it isn’t listing virtual midi sources.

  • If I add a "unit" to my chain, but then decide I don't want it, how do I delete it? Can't figure that out...

  • @Kashi Drag it down, off the chain + it will disappear..

Drag it down from the small icons onto the larger icons. I’m on phone. Don’t know if it’s different for iPad.

  • Great, thanks @royor and @Zerozerozero !
