    Working for me too…

Pretty impressive to have more than 4000 patches for just 60 bucks, inclusive the Synthmaster 2 app itself!!

Nothing is better on iOS or iPadOS if you ask me!!!

Great work by the Turkish brothers and the sound engineers they have collaboration with!!!

My four week vacation this summer will certainly be much Synthmaster music making…

@kv331audio_bulent thanks for the update - I am now able to export presets, wonderful!

There is still a bug with the custom preset banks though:

If I create a custom bank with say 15 of my presets, going to the Info tab to make sure everything is correctly tagged with the right author name, tags, and bank name everything seems fine. But if I then close and reopen Synthmaster 2 most of the presets disappear from the bank, only 3 of the 15 still remain within it. The presets are still there under "My Presets" but they are not assigned to the custom bank anymore.

How do you get it to work?

I've got a bunch of IAPs in Synthmaster Player but only one shows up in Synthmaster 2?!
(Naturally all under the same registration e-mail).

In the browser I go to the AudioShop select category purchased an only one pack for Synthmaster Player shows up...

Maybe I need to re-install the entire app to get it to work or?

How do you get it to work?

Tap the preset name -> Then tap the "Restore IAPs for SynthMaster Player"

If it's not working, please PM me your registered email address, and I'll check your KV331 Audio account info.

I’m having issues too, I’ve only managed to install one iap. And when I click restore IAP’s for sm player it brings up the registration box.

    PM sent with additional info...
...hopefully it's just a minor glitch.
(Forgot to add in the PM, I'm on an iPad Air 2, iPadOS14.6).

  • Does anyone experience the same issue as me regarding the ARP module, or am I misunderstanding the behavior of the module?

I can't find a way to simply switch on/off the ARP : you have to pass through an intermediate step with the step recording mode.

So for example, if you start from the init patch and activate the ARP, it will behave normally (with mode being 'As Played' and Steps being '16). If I want to deactivate the arp, I have to pass through the step recording mode (red button of the arp switch), and this automatically switches to 'Sequence' mode. So if I want to reactivate the arp again, I have to change the ARP mode manually again to 'As Played'.

Is this normal behavior or a bug? Would a separate on/off switch solve the problem?

Looks like we have a serverside issue regarding Player iOS Bundle IAPs. I will edit the code today so that downloads for bundles will work as well.

EDIT: The issue is fixed now, please try again!

    Hi,

I guess the best way would be adding a separate button for record. I'll try to come up with a solution.

  • Seems like the bottom two oscs in the vector mode are still switched in the XY pad? So the osc on the bottom left is actually on the bottom right of the pad. Also I sometimes get issues where the mod amount won’t show/move with a long press, I have to move the amount knob in the mod matrix for it to show again?

  • Thanks for looking into the SMP issue - I now have all the Historic Synth Giants sets imported across to SM2, but not the Sounds of the World, and it said 4 of 6 packs imported, so I’m still missing a few.

Most packs restored perfectly now, thanks!
Still missing one pack that didn't download?! (the Pop-Up said 7 of 8 packs...).
The missing pack for me is 'Nori Ubukata Sounds of the World' which refuses to restore, I can see it under purchased.

No biggie, I'm happy all the other packs work now :)

    Cheers!

Yes it is pretty annoying that the arp goes into ‘Rec’ mode … just trying to turn it off..

Same here - I get a message saying 8 out of 10 banks have been restored and Nori Ubukata Sounds of the World is missing. I'd like it back please @kv331audio_bulent :-)

Yes it is pretty annoying that the arp goes into ‘Rec’ mode … just trying to turn it off..

Also the rec mode in the Arp (Sequencer Mode) is a bit wonky when using the onscreen keyboard to record steps into the step sequencer, so for now 'no playing but tap in the notes instead'...

Apologies if this is a repeat post, but I’ve just installed iPadOS 15 beta2 and SM2 is still crackling periodically :( (11” M1 iPad Pro)

I was hoping this would be fixed after upgrading from iOS 14.6/14.7.

It seems to be most noticeable in standalone mode. Just open the SM2 app; default patch; and hold down any note and wait for the crackles.

Don't forget to send feedback to the fruit-company letting then know that they should get their sh*t together when it comes to Audio on the new 'Pro' iPads :sunglasses:

Even though my iPad Air 2 is starting to feel a bit slow I'm happy I don't have any issues with core-audio or audio-units.
I would have gone totally bonkers being faced with all these issues that others are experiencing...

  • Ok we’ll check that preset bank and fix it asap

I have the second generation iPad Pro and I’m having the same crackling audio issue, so it’s not limited to the newest models.

Just noticed that. Thanks for sorting it. There are several iOS Synths I absolutely love (Cube Pro, Zeeon etc) but if I could only keep one it would be Synthmaster 2.

Great thanks - it is all working for me now. Time to delve into how some of them were made!

  • @lbiyikoglu Thank you thank you for the preset import. This is epic! 👍🙏

FYI - as an fortunate guy I own five different iPads, also an iPad Pro 10.5” (2nd gen iPad Pro) - one hour playing in Synthmaster 2 v1.02, at least 200 different patches - no crackles, no audio dropouts! Flawless!

So, you must have some other interference not related to SM2…

My iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 generation, the same, no problem in Synthmaster 2, but, my 12.9” iPad Pro M1still got the crackling sound, audio dropouts…

When I first installed beta 1 of iPadOS15 I could almost believe the problem was solved, but, now with beta 2 it’s the same as on iPadOS 14.6…

In standalone mode yes, but, do you mean that it occurs also as an AUv3 plugin?

For me on my 12.9” M1, SM2 v.1.02 never had any crackles or audio dropouts in AUM or Drambo…

No, I’ve reached the conclusion this is an Apple/iPadOS issue.

That's why we have a "Known Issue" in the release notes on AppStore!

One thing I am wondering is, what could be different for those apps, while they run the audio i/o code: we setup AudioUnit (Apple RemoteIO) and start it. This is generic code.

    Hey folks🙏🏽
After the last beta & official release it isn’t possible to import wavetables.
If I try to choose a folder it’s all grey out & even the files are not able to import even if they can be chosen in the folder.

Is there any known workaround @kv331audio ?

    Thx for listening ☺️
