Who could I possibly owe an apology too? As I said, I know there are participants who are motivated by the love of music. But when you open up a contest, you get people who will be motivated just for the prize. I wanted to start something where the only motivation could be for the love of creation. A battle for battling's sake.
I realize great art can be made and still earn its creator a prize or a paycheck. I'm sure the Beatles weren't just in it for the tunes.

Awesome. And I agree with you on establishing tradition as well, seeing as my view goes back to Isis and Astarte.
I thought that the combination between collaboration of forum members, and prizes, made the round 2 quite fun. I have all the prizes, so I'm not into that, but it might give an extra push to some around here for sharing and working together. I think this battle thing is a great way to start to get to know each other, and maybe even leveling some of our common software. If people want to offer prizes, good for them, I really don't think a big load of people are going to come and invade us trying to win the prizes. And if there is... Well, it seems like something positive to me.
Otherwise, just to know if I need to start getting my head out of my back pocket, is there a time line ?
P.S thanks for reminding me how fun OSC is with audiobus. I remembered buying it on day one, and spending hours with it , fed into a long delay (4 to 8 s) with a load of feedback and then tripping around with controls. And I'm quite ashamed to say that it's the only thing I've done so far for the Battle

This one seems to be getting a late start, How does entry by 5/30 (2 weeks from this post) and 3 day voting done on 6/2 sound?
I'll post on submission details and how to enter next Saturday.
@WMWM Just for clarity's sake, how does this prize thing work? Is it one of each app for each of the teammates, or one of each app, and it's up to them to divide them amongst themselves, or what?
The ones marked multiple are one for each teammate, barring a supergroup entry. Each app is superb in its own right.
The real prize though is getting to work with another member, possibly worth more than all apps combined.
Hi guys. Is there a possibility for me to take part in a collaboration? I would love to learn by exchange and explore the networking music on phones and pads with apps no matter where. It is one year I do recordings, straight ios music. Big amateur but big joy... Find my jams on Soundcloud.
Greetings from Germany
Yep, sure can. See the collaboration thread for that topic.
I dont get it as I am not english native... Whats my next step?
Request to be on a team or start one yourself.

Is anyone else willing to participate? Surely someone else out there?
@Digitalresonance Hey, you still around? I sent you a message.
A fellow member has agreed to serve the files, special thanks to him. The entry should contain a document giving the team's chosen topic, Song Name, list of team mates and any artwork with the entry being sent by the team's representative. Sent by email to seekrfindr at outlook dot com. Last entry to be received at 7:00 PST May 31.
Thread will follow with songs listed in random order. Voting as described above. I will not cast a vote that counts.
In the case of a Tie, A new song must be created by the team's representative within 24 hours with or without the team, and these new songs are re-voted upon in the same manner.
This is all able to be changed until I receive the first entry. Voting time length?
I am in this should be fun...
We are ready to hand ours in..
Great, send the entry with info to the above address. I'll send conformation that I received it.
We sent it.. But had to resend another version because the first had a bit of nasty resonance.. So hopefully they recieved our second email.. It was from me [email protected]
Well I tried to send it 3 times and he's not receiving it?? I'm emailing it thru audio share it's a 34meg wav file
Can't we just put it up on soundcloud?. Cos this ain't happening?
I received your email. Your in.

Yep, your good.
Cool.. That's good to know. What happens next?
I send the songs to the member who has agreed to serve the files, without user names, only titles.
voting thread to follow.
If you haven't got your entry in and received confirmation, send it now.
So how many participants did this compo get? It seems a bit quiet?
Not many but slightly more than last month.

Vote at this thread. If there are any issues or concerns let me know.
Thanks
Looks like we have a winner. Congratulation to the creators of Medusa's theme. Will the team members of both teams send an email with a prioritized list of your choice of apps. First pick goes to the top vote getter, Medussa's theme.
We had a slight increase in participation in both contributions and voting compared to last month. Thanks to all who participated.
Will the winning team please choose one member to host round 3. Take a little time and come up with next months challenge.
Great job to both teams.
Oh that's cool.
