Great work Doug. Looking forward to seeing the video when you've had the time to complete it. No easy thing I know.
Not allowed to release a video just yey, but I will be doing some audio demos a bit later today

Thanks for the detailed posts, Doug! I'm curious about whether or not it will have tweakable features the way BIAS does (e.g., selectable valve and transformer sims, etc.).
Also, would you include the Talk Box sim as part of your demo? I'm not sure how that could work effectively without using a mic input to shape the sound with your mouth.
No its not tweakable in the way Bias is, abd yes I will include the talkbox one, you are right if course about the shaping of vowels but bear in mind it has full midi learn..
So that should be fun with my breath controller and expression pedals. Sounds great!
What do you use for a breath controller? As a guitarist first, the world of MIDI controllers is largely uncharted territory for me.
It's a USB BC called TEControl. Works pretty well through CCK on both iPhone 5 and iPad mini 2 to control all kinds of stuff like wah position or any other parameter that is midi mappable with midi learn.
So something like that would be great fir controlling the various Wah FX

Ik blueboard has 4 switches and 2 jack inputs for 2 external continuous controllers making it a perfect match.
Instead of making another thread... I'm just gonna squeeze this question in here real quick fast in a hurry....
@supadom is it possible with Yonacs Magellan to set the BlueBoard to control spawn?? I am using my IRings and BlueBoard and want to be able to change synth sounds without touching screen
Carry on folkses...
Sounds great Doug! Can't wait to see your demo... :-)

I'm almost definitely positive you can change patches as blueboard has a program change mode. I'm not sure if it will control spawns. I didn't quite understand whether you actually own the blueboard. If yes try switching to program mode in blueboard control app settings.
Don't worry about it, threads here get hijacked all the time. Musos like musing.
Looking forward to seeing your take Mister Doug.

Wow, thanks for posting the photo! Hard to see everything going on there, but the display looks more of the "JamUp" variety than the "AmpKit" variety.
Really excited about this - I've gotten lured into synths and drum music almost exclusively the last few months by this forum, and it's great to have all of those capabilities for DAW recording (and making backing tracks). But my first love is guitar music, and it's really becoming a treat what you can get for an insanely reasonable amount of money on iOS.
OK so here are a few FX examples, please excuse my playing as its not very good, I will do another with keyboards, these are not factory presets and I did not use amps or cabs, to boost the gain I added the Valve Compressor at the end of the chain, and most of what you here is just one or two FX, I have had 24 units in a chain but it does push the CPU
That does sound great! lush, rich effects.
@thesoundtestroom - Thanks for the demos! Let's reverse engineer this. Think I heard the talk box around the 2:00 mark. 2:30 mark sounded like an Acoustic 12-String Emulator. At 3:00, some type of pitch shifter with modulation. From 3:30 to 4:45 - more pitch shifting, with...something else?! At 5:40 we have some type of Dist/OD pedal. 5:55 sounds like a flanger with echo. And I missed a few in between.
Also saw a Phase 90, Tubescreamer, and Classic Echo from the photo.
With 24 amps and cabs, there should be a fair variety of clean, crunch, and heavily distorted tones. But, still, I like to have some dirt pedals mixed in so that you can more easily kick up the gain without completely changing your preset or tonal characteristics. I prefer the amps in JamUp/BIAS, but prefer some of the pedals in AmpKit, if that makes sense. And Flying Haggis has a small handful of delay/modulation effects, but no dirtpedals (though it does provide universal OD and distortion knobs).
I'm a little excited for this app. Can you tell?
Yeah you covered most things there, there are so many effects and limitless combinations, like I said in thus demo no cabs or amps and very little fuzz or OD, There are a staggering 18 differnt types of Distortion, OD and Fuzz effects in the complete app, that pitch shifter was a combination of one of the Octave Dividers and a pedal called The Wanger, I had the Wanger set to rise or fall a full octave but you can set it at any increment you like
I prefer the Wanger at a full octave, thank you very much.
Can we agree, as a group, not to talk shit about another man's wanger?
What if we agree to disagree to agree about that....?
C'mon guys, let's not butt heads over this...
Thanks for the demo, Doug! Sounds amazing. I'm in at launch! Tomorrow? How about launch tomorrow (it worked last time. ;-) )
Hey! Who you calling a butthead?!
Liking the roto/Leslie sound it reminded me of Stevie Ray Vaughan - 'Cold Shot' and even Alice Cooper - 'Alma Mater'. And I'd like to say thanks, not just this but all the demos you do. How else could we navigate the myriad of purchasing options.
I didn't think the app store allowed wangers.
@syrupcore Apparently, they do. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/welly-wanger-world-tour/id522045945?mt=8
It doesn't sound too bad. :-) Big question would be, does it offer anything compelling that Jamup Pro or Ampkit (with all the add-ons) doesn't add?
