Hey man is there a way to save and move widgets from one project to another?
From the edit screen you can long-press the widget(s), select copy, then open the new project and paste them.
Beauty!
Thanks Wim! You’re a *!
Applied it on my LP template.
It was somehow complicated to “reverse” engineer with all menus and sub menus especially the crushes while going from one instance to another within Aum.
So I used 2 iPads in the end.
What were the crashes?
Apologies if this has ready been answered. I have a MIDI controller connected to LP and am successfully playing notes on an AU synth (Model D). How do I go about doing midi learn on an au synth once it’s added to LP? Do I need to create intermediary knobs in LP and assign the knobs to the au synth or can I get directly to the au synth through the midi learn function in LP?
Currently, AU instrument parameters aren't exposed in LP. I believe that is changing very soon. When it is available it will work the same as for AU effects does now. There is an article in the wiki. You will find a link to it from this page:

Is it possible to get your donut to start playing at a point other than the original start of it? A bit like the ‘beat offset’ in AUM, or maybe you can turn it round so that the start point changes?
Also - can you set it so that your next selected donut will interrupt and take over from the currently playing one in a way that is quantised? Say that donut one is 32 beats long. You want to hit donut two after one plays through 16 and take it over - a bit like on Launchpad - can that be done?
And finally - is there any way to ask it to play a donut a specified amount of times before moving to another - a bit like on Pure Acid?
You can adjust the start point with a two-finger twist on the loop.
Yes, one way is to set quantize for each loop appropriately and set the two loops to a play group with "One loop at a time" set. For instance, you could count-in and count-out quantize to Custom and 1-bar. Then, tapping the next clip any time in the measure before you want it to play will start it and stop the other.
Not at this time. But you can use the sequencer for this.
Besides the sequencer page , you could also use a midi sequencer like LK or Atom to do things like this (currently requires an assist from miRack or MIDI Route but soon those won’t be necessary).
Long press MIDI pedal commands? Is there a way?
I want to be able to use one pedal for Recording a clip, playing and stopping a clip, and a long press for deleting a clip.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Hold and On can often often be used with the same CC.
Yes. On, Off, On/Off, Hold and Double-tap are available.
Does anyone know whether it’s technically possible to have buttons in Loopy Pro show on the session view of Launchpad Pro? Just before I start asking Michael about adding this
I organize my songs into scenes (from buttons in Loopy) and would love to be able to trigger these scenes on my Launchpad in a live situation.
For now, I’ve created silent one-shots that are asked to trigger specific scenes. This works, but it’s a bit of workaround.
Thanks . Yes I know they are available and I have tried to set them up several times to no avail. Some detailed instructions might help.
What steps have you tried several times, and what didn't work? Your question is a little vague to form "detailed instructions" to address.
Crushed when 2 instances of LP inside AUM were being edited.
Excuse me for asking. The manual is incomplete and I am not as rocket scientist.
@BladeRunner I can share how I set up my four-button pedal. Maybe you can adapt this to your needs.
Open MIDI Control > Global Profiles > Default
Add new Binding > Clip Actions > Select > Previous Clip.
Back to the Binding screen
Tapped Button A on the foot switch. Note C4 was recognized. Checked that the Trigger was set to On.
Back to the Default profile screen, then Add new Binding > Clip Actions > Select > Next Clip
Back to the Binding screen.
Tap Button B on the foot switch. Note D4 was recognized. Checked that the Trigger was set to On.
Back to the Default profile screen, then Add new binding > Clip Actions > Play/Stop Selected Clip
Back to the Binding screen
Tap button C on the foot switch. Note E4 recognized, checked that it was set to On.
Back to the Default profile screen, then Add new binding > Clip Actions > Record or Stop Selected Clip > If Clip Has Audio > Overdub
Back to the Binding screen
Tap button D on the foot switch. Note F4 recognized, check that it was set to On.
Back to the Default Profile screen, then Add new binding > Clip Actions > Clear Selected Clip > Target > Selected Clip. If Recording Clear Clip.
Back to the Binding screen
Tap button D on the foot switch. Note F4 recognized, set to HOLD
Resulting Bindings screen looks like this:
I didn't mean to imply you shouldn't have asked. I'm just relating that trying to answer a vague question is difficult and so more details about what pieces of the puzzle you're missing would be helpful.
Also, there have been some pedals that haven't worked well because of midi feedback issues. There's no point in writing a bunch of detailed instructions if you've already been doing it right and it just isn't working as expected.
@BladeRunner - may also be useful if you're following the steps but it doesn't seem to be working: https://wiki.audiob.us/doku.php?id=loopy_pro_troubleshooting
Thank you @wim & @espiegel123.
What pedal are you using, and how is it set up?
I am using a Boss GT 1000 with 5 of the pedals and an aux switch sending out MIDI CC messages (total of 7 CCs).
I also have MIDI clock being sent back to the GT 1000 via a MIDI Y cable that is also connected to a 4 button MIDI controller that only sends additional CC messages.
These CCs and clock messages are input into the GT 1000 and merged using it's MIDI thru function.
This setup works flawlessly with Quantiloop.
Both pedals are sending Momentary CC messages.
The MIDI is being fed into a newer iPad Air via a Zoom U-44 interface.
Thanks. I have seen that WIKI post previously and only asked here out of desperation. Sorry if I came off a bit abrupt last night but it was awfully late and Loopy programming was becoming downright frustrating at that point.
"Momentary CC" meaning that the pedal sends a value of 127 on that CC number when you press it, and 0 when you release it?
To help you, can you set up a project and screen record what happens when you try to midi learn a donut to use on for play/stop and hold for overdub and then what happens when yo7 use them.
It is hard to help troubleshoot without more detail.
@AlmostAnonymous asked about
"... my end goal is to have the knobs above change what they control depending on which fader (track) is selected on the bottom. Anyway to accomplish this without having 20 pages?" Im interested if there is an answer?
Switch Controller Profile.. please can somebody tell how to use it?
All my MIDI learned controls are under Global Profiles. It works, but I don't understand how to for example
control 8 x 8 donuts but with 4x8 controller by using two pages or two profiles? Or by external midi logic, but who knows how far Switch Controller Profile can help? The name is giving me hope
Yes sir.
