Soundpaint (https://soundpaint.com/) $15 discount link: http://soundpaint.refr.cc/nigelt
Full disclosure - I get a discount if someone uses the link...😁
If you've not come across Soundpaint, it comprises a free 'engine' which you load sampled libraries into - a little like Kontakt, but there are some very cool built in features and effects. There are a couple of free libraries available, but a growing number of very interesting paid ones too covering a variety of sounds. They're pretty reasonably priced for the quality and features and each one has a demo video highlighting the various options - these are the best way to get a feel for what it can offer...
Their sound libraries really are quite reasonably priced relative to what some other companies are charging.
New update to Algonaut Atlas (2.3), comes with a new free sample pack and a not-so-frequent 40% off promo until the end of August - use coupon COSM (from their email): https://algonaut.audio/
Ah, thanks for posting this. Didn't know this was coming. I'm heading to their site for an update now! 👍
Thanks for mentioning the Atlas update. I love this plugin. BTW, I’m kind of new doing music on the desktop since some months. I used to be iPad only. I really don’t know how to track updates of plugins properly. How are you doing that?
I don't.
It saves me a lot of hassle, and in my case at least, it's not like I absolutely need whatever new features the upgrade offers. I need to overcome my urge to have the latest and greatest, but once that's done, it's fine.
For those plugins that I use frequently, I do occasional checks in their central installer if they have one, or let them send emails to me as long as they don't overdo it.
SSL flash sale: X-EQ2, Bus Compressor 2 and FlexVerb for $34.99 each, lasts for 4 days - https://store.solidstatelogic.com/
There are, rarely, even better prices for individual plugins, but mostly this is as good as it gets with SSL.
