I have version 1, what does V2 have compared to V1?
I find Strum GS-2 an excellent strumming/picking guitar simulation and I'm using it a lot. The others have generally not impressed me. But I really do recommend Strum GS-2.
I love physical modeling and AAS are masters at that. They take the old Yamaha VL and AN synthesis to a new level.
Their new modular, Multiphonics CV-1, sounds different than the core modules in Reaktor Blocks. More 'raw sounding 'I suppose.

I’ve been looking for some free guitar midi, anyone know of any free packs out there? Midi that’s set up to play like a guitar player would, stuff to use in projects not songs already created.

I haven't come across much in the way of free guitar MIDI, but AAS Strum Session includes a decent MIDI riff library. It's not free, but you can find it for next to nothing since it is frequently bundled with hardware and MIDI controllers. It has also been sold dirt cheap on sites like Humble Bundle and Fanatical. The sound bank expansions for Strum include MIDI, too!
