I didn’t know there was hate for Audiokit. Synth One is my favourite iOS synth (Very much looking forward to Auv3 and MPE).

I don’t hate AudioKit.
I just hate latency only on the kickdrum which is totally not a badly cut sample with a few milliseconds of silence at the beginning.
I do like to AK Effects (Rack Reverb being one of the current favorites) but don't honestly care so much about the other content.
Sure it has its target audience, I'm just not part of that crowd...
Instabuy. But equally welcome it wouöd be if they optimize the AUv3 code of their flagship synths (D1, FM Player)
I think they've mentioned in the past that those synths have old code and cant be optimized (indeed they are very heavy on cpu)

Remember having to rewind a video? Remember having to clean the vcr? The really have done away with the bad memories. I only vaguely remember the bad stuff now. i.e., this looks cool.
Adjusting the tracking was always the adventure- and when you bought the inexpensive vcr with auto tracking, certain videos just wouldn’t play. Thanks for the bad memory.😂
A real tangent here, but it's a shame that the synth that sounded like a Commodore 64 has never made it to AUv3. Can't remember what it was called. Ah, SidTracker64! That's it. I'd love an AUv3 that's similarly based on the old SID chip!

Haha! I’m trying to remember now why auto tracking was a problem, but I seem to remember it caused some tapes not to work.
Probably technology getting ahead of itself again. A bit like this.

I’m just hoping the app size and cpu drain isn’t too bad. Since it’s all sampled sounds I'm expecting a couple hundred mb, but just guessing here.
I just assumed it was a synth. That's a shame. Not that it will sound bad, I was just rolling down the river picturing synth tweaking through various VCR outputs.
