A lot of the folk on the Ancient Aliens tv programme seem to think that the aliens were on this planet before us and/or that we are descended from them. I think this is possibly true.

Most cultures across the world, for many millennium have described in archaic term’s what we today through our techno-centric viewpoint call ufo’s. If they’re not real then there’s something within the human psyche that causes these themes to occur, that alone is worthy of serious investigation.

Yes I totally agree. It's mental for example how angels are described in the bible

Definitely the psychological thing should be, (and I think has been) seriously investigated. Exactly what I was saying earlier, these phenomena go back as far as stories, even cave paintings seem to show some things than can be interpreted as other worldly beings visiting. But like I say, my belief comes down on the side that it is just that; belief, and hope for rescue from our more mundane plane by those from outside.

I particularly dislike the idea that we’ve been given technology or our culture by these beings. The insinuation is either that we’re too dumb to come up with our own shit, or that we’ve been tainted by demonic or otherwise unpalatable forces. Always the pertinent question then arises; who taught the teachers? Or is it teachers all the way down? 😆

  • I’m also getting a strong urge to write a film treatment. Something about the secret services use of these phenomena to keep the U.S. military machine at the top of everyone’s list of forces to be afraid of. Sci-ops or something, a kooky comedic fake historical account, something like men who stare at goats - Jonah hill would be ideal. I wonder what the reaction would be in Hollywood circles and whether it would get made, is it enough, or too much plausible deniability? Would it be secretly funded or kiboshed? Ah the permutations 🤣

I’m not talking about the phenomena, I’m talking about the post modern use by US military of them as a way to keep other countries afraid of them - they don’t want to lose the top dog spot, and what better way than having a so called secret base stuffed with toys they’ve nicked from the gods?

While there is a mighty and exhausting weight of evidence, in all my forty odd years of looking at it, I’ve yet to see a single piece of it that convinced me, and I’m someone who wants nothing more than to bring the peoples of the planet together in common purpose, but a story that sells that well with so many people is invaluable to those looking to influence others.

Anyway it’s my idea, anyone nicks it and I’ll know where to look 😆

  • The oldest discovered mammal fossils are - wait for it…… 225 million - yes million years old.
The Brasilodon quadrangularis - Brasilodon is an extinct genus of small, mammal-like cynodonts that lived in what is now Brazil during the Norian age of the Late Triassic epoch, about 225.42 million years ago. While no complete skeletons have been found, the length of Brasilodon has been estimated at around 12 centimetres.

We have only been using mobile phones for about 45 years - less than that for the ones with cameras.

@sevenape I'll start looking at getting those interviews and podcasts over to you. Fairly big audio files, I might have to put them in my dropbox and link you to them there.

Man, don't put yourself out please! I managed to grab a book or two plus all that MoD stuff so I have more than enough to get on with! Even a link or two would be great!! Thank you again!! I will get back to you after each book! ;) This is a rabbit hole I can see myself falling down alright! Thank you so much for everything so far and again don't put yourself out!!

Had a quick flick through the beginning of the MoD thing and it looks wild! Can't wait to dig in THANK YOU!!

I’d also recommend Brenda’s first book “Sky Crash” a very early work but quite a bit of stuff in there that nobody ever mentions publicly anymore. The thing to remember when reading the books or watching/listening to things is that more evidence came out over the years bit by bit, and is still coming out, so unless you read and watch it all in chronological order(!), some things might have changed or become clearer or seem conflicting. Keep that in mind.

Also no worries on the audio files. I realised I still had them all left in my dropbox after downloading and dropping into Audioshare haha. Easy to link you straight to them. I’ll PM you one now....then let me know if/when you want another one anytime mate. Btw sorry about the cheesy awful ads that pop up a few times throughout. It’s a radio station after all!

Edit: Gah! Ok the inbox here isn’t finding any recipients to send a message to. So I’ll just have to stick the link here!

Yeah, it's the same as trying to use God as an answer to the 'why are we here question'. Scholastic Philosophers did a lot of very bad philosophising and very impressive mental gymnastics dealing with all the issues that arise from that attempt at a solution.

Definitely an interesting thought, but that rapidly heads down the God path when examined…

  • I saw one when I was a kid. Was about 8 years old. Looked up and there is was. A big slowly spinning flying saucer with lights and absolutely no sound. I stared gobsmacked at it for a few minutes and it slowly drifted off over the skyline.
The thing that was weird is that when I think about it over the years I've realised that what my brain saw wasn't what it actually looked like. It's like my brain was translating something incredible into something I could get my head around.

In later years I've started to think that the phenomenon encompasses UFOs/UAPs, Cryptids, ghosts and manifestations etc.. and the underlying fabric is consciousness.

It's like I saw this solid object that looked a certain way but when I thought about it over the years I realised that the object was assembled by my thoughts and memories.

It's like there are loads of historical records of UFOs. Early man saw flaming chariots, later man saw sky ships etc...
So something is projecting into our reality and there's some sort of shared communication that resolves the object into something we can see. I know it sounds a bit weird and woo but there it is.

That makes sense… what if what we see as phantom flying machines are in fact something far weirder that’s beyond what we can imagine, like a tesseract or something?

  • Amazing, just seconds ago I read this:

“ Pilots training with the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Atlantic between 2014 and 2015 reported picking up -- and sometimes seeing visually -- objects on a daily basis that appeared to travel at extremely high speeds and high altitudes. In a near midair collision, a pilot reported seeing what looked like a sphere with a cube inside, according to The New York Times.”

    Interesting article!

    (25:47)

I haven’t watched the video part of this comment yet, but to the bit about the brain translating something incredible into something it could more understand....Yes. This is what I was saying earlier. When we perceive something unusual that we don’t know what it is, there’s no reference point to clearly draw from, we end up trying to make sense of it and explain it in a way or context of something we already know of and can describe. We are very limited by our own senses and perceptions.

Imagine a person living and perceiving in only 2D. If a 3D sphere were to enter their 2D dimension, they would only be aware of and able to perceive it in 2D. Therefore it would look to them like a flat circle growing wider in diameter and circumference, and that is the only way they could describe it from their daily experiences as they have no perception or understanding of 3D and wouldn’t see it fully or be able to describe it fully as a 3D sphere.

  • @Spidericemidas Makes sense that things wouldn't make sense. :)

  • I like what Lue Elizondo, a U.S. Army veteran and former counterintelligence special agent says about them:

“You know when we describe a white flying Tic Tac in 2004, it was described in the '60s as a white flying throat lozenge, what was described in the '50s as a white flying butane tank," Elizondo said in the interview with Military.com, claiming that solid government evidence exists of UFO encounters going back decades. The agent always appears to measure his words carefully. He has compared UFOs to ancient beliefs in sea monsters that turned out to be sharks and whales, pointed to ancient Roman accounts of "flaming shields" in the sky, and suggested the human race may be headed for a profound paradigm shift in understanding reality.”

  • Watch the mice. Don't take your eyes off them.

Yes indeed. A lot of it is because enough time has passed that some classified documents have been allowed to be de-classified (albeit slightly redacted here & there where interests of national security still reign) and if you’re dedicated and diligent and persistent enough like Dr David Clarke, you will spot things in there on rare occasions that lead you to making further FOIA requests and eventually hitting a jackpot (as in the Condign Report).

Also enough time has passed that original witnesses feel safer to come out and speak up. A lot has changed in society on this subject since the 80s. Then and before, it was pretty much a joke subject to be ridiculed immediately and put down to psychotic episodes and crazyness etc. Nowadays there is definitely a lot more general open-mindedness in people about it. It still does carry a bit of a stigma and ridicule, but I think nowhere near as much as was in the 80s and pre 80s. I believe we’ve been possibly conditioned slowly over time to move towards some kind of disclosure in the future where the mindset we’ve reached won’t be so shocking and terrifying if the existence of other life out there and possibly already here is officially confirmed and announced! 😉

A lot of the witnesses were still in the military or after the military they were working in other governmental security roles, so they would not speak out mostly. Now they have all but retired, they have been speaking out more. However there are some that still refuse to speak on it!
