    Haha.

    Basically OP - without mentioning names - felt that some people were making posts he viewed as too ‘self promotional’ and suggested a separate topic on the forum for ‘self-promotional’ stuff. He was informed that that would probably mean relegating the whole forum to said topic etc etc. you didn’t miss much!

    This reminded me a lot of opening a reddit thread where OP states an unpopular opinion and is shocked SHOCKED when others don't agree with them, so instead of letting it go they double/triple/quadruple down until [deleted] starts popping up everywhere.

    The schadenfreude is electric!
